Please I need the following clarifications about Trezor, Nano Ledger and other hardware wallets.

1. What is the clear difference (if any) between Trezor and Nano Ledger wallet

2. What kind of wallets does it support? E.g Bitcoin or Ethereum wallets only?

3. How many different wallets can it hold at a time? Is there a limit for each of the hardware wallet device?

4. Which of them is safer? Or cannot easily be hacked, all things being equal, that is all normal security instructions well adhered to? Can a hardware wallet actually be hacked elsewhere?

5. Which of them is more expensive to purchase and how much does each cost normally?

6. Do you know any legit seller? If yes, please name them.

7. Is it possible for the manufacturer or seller to manipulate the device to still your coins? What can you do to remedy this possibility at the instance of acquiring the device before usage?

8. Are there other hardware wallets other than these two? Please name them.

9. If you misplaced the hard wallet device, must you buy a new device before you can recover your coins?

P.s: Please do not reply this post with an incorrect answer if you are not sure of your response nor give a vague reply. Only the forum experts on this should assist with the clarifications. If you don't know, kindly read and pass by.

Thank you.

Man, you do realize that most of these questions can be answered by quick Google searches, right?

Anyway, the answers to some that could potentially be hard to search:

4. Which of them is safer? Or cannot easily be hacked, all things being equal, that is all normal security instructions well adhered to? Can a hardware wallet actually be hacked elsewhere?
Your hardware wallet can be hacked through unsafe storage of your recovery seed(e.g. storing them digitally/online), or possibly if your device is stolen(though most likely very difficult), especially with a unsecure PIN. Wirelessly though? I don't think so.

6. Do you know any legit seller? If yes, please name them.
Their official websites:

Is it possible for the manufacturer or seller to manipulate the device to still your coins?
Possible. Would they? Probably not, as their reputation is on the line. But there's definitely some trust involved here. If you want to be like ultra/maximum safety, a correctly and securely made paper wallet is probably the best choice. Readers, feel free to correct me.

9. If you misplaced the hard wallet device, must you buy a new device before you can recover your coins?
You can either use any wallet that supports BIP39, or more preferably, purchase another hardware wallet.

Both of them are hardware wallets. The new nano x can support 100s of coins while the others are smaller.

Never ever buy hardware wallets from 3rd party or unauthorized sellers because you don't know if these hardware wallets have undetectable malware in them or not. Just buy these wallets in retailers as you have a guarantee that what they are selling are not tampered, just sacrifice a few extra bucks on buying them at their original price they are actually getting cheaper now. Don't even buy 2nd hand wallets as there is also a risk onto it that the original user might included a malware in it.

In short the trezor wallet is easier to use, very user friendly. However it only supports a handful of coins. Ledger on the other hand supports a lot of coins so it's a more comprehensive wallet. Both are safe cold storage wallets

Not a forum expert here but I do know that Google is your savior. Better use 5 minutes of your time writing this post to scroll in Google and read whatever links you find there and after that, if you still have trouble or doubt, ask it in details.

6. Do you know any legit seller? If yes, please name them.

Yes.
Ledger = https://www.ledger.com/
Trezor = https://shop.trezor.io/

My opinion is get the new nano x

For what? If you want to use your hardware wallet as a cold storage, you don't need to buy something like Nano X.
