Thats great! I hope many business establishments will start accepting bitcoin as a payment too because i think its way faster and easier just like online booking of ticket than falling in line just to buy your ticket.
Yeah , it is we dont need to travel outside just to scout for a ticketing booth but the only downside is that payment using bitcoin is slow or not instant . you may need to advance buying tickets so that you wont be delayed with your flight . @op thats great if the country of brazil is now joining the trend . this is another evidence that bitcoin is becoming mainstream and soon it can be used on almost all services that fiats will do .

The ability to purchase movie tickets with ease in Brazil is good thing. It's exciting going to a movie house and instead of purchasing movie tickets with fiat money, the most advanced means of payment which is Bitcoin is used. I do hope someday I too can be able to buy movie tickets with Bitcoin in my country Nigeria. It will be really exciting doing that.

This is an extraordinary thing when we receive news from various countries that have received Bitcoin to the full, we believe that in the future there will be more countries that follow similar things where Bitcoin can be accepted in almost every country. When using cinema ticket payments using Bitcoin then we hope that in other countries that follow in the footsteps of countries that have accepted Bitcoin more using Bitcoin is not just for paying for Cinema tickets.

People Can Now Buy Movie Tickets Using Bitcoin In Brazil Buying movie tickets in Brazil just got a whole lot easier through Bitcoin payment systems established by Cine Multi. Brazil initially showed signs of interest in Bitcoin and the blockchain technology last in 2017 when Brazilian Hotel Chain Vert Hotéis started accepting Bitcoins as payment for their services. This was then followed by Brazil's usage of the Ethereum blockchain to keep track and monitor the political expression of Brazilian citizens. Read more here: https://www.unblock.news/news/people-can-now-buy-movie-tickets-using-bitcoin-in-brazilBrazil will be a blockchain tiger if that is the term is true there are many projects operating in Brazil The Brazilian people Openly deals with crypto they will be One of the best peoples to adopt crypto as I see.

Movie tickets is not the only thing that can be bought with bitcoin in Brazil. The adoption of bitcoin as a means of payment has greatly increased in several.countries, Brazil inclusive which gives people opportunity to pay for numerous things with the use of Bitcoin. Its a welcomed development for the bitcoin community.

Great news and such information is not a surprise because many countries have various industries that uses cryptocurrencies directly or indirectly to gain more income and more customers like Switzerland for Banking purposes, Indonesia in real estate business , Cyprus for university payments and many other countries which are great because that increases possibilities not only to develop a particular industry but to provide many advantages and usability to Citizens
And it will get bigger over time! The funny part is that the possibilities of future implementation for Blockchain are so broad and widely spread that i believe we will someday have Blockchain for everything, call it a wild guess. I definitely wouldn't drop an university which accept Bitcoins as payments i'm 100% sure of that.

Such instances are a win-win scenario for the Crypto space and businesses.
Companies that opt to adopt Crypto payments drive some buzz (read: free marketing) and are able to possibly attract a small niche audience too. There's nothing to lose on the business's side if they accept payments via LN. And as others have mentioned, it's highly unlikely some one would try to double spend on a transaction that costs a few dollars.

Brazil like the Philippines have taken a bold step in spreading the use of Bitcoin across the country as we see it being used for payment in places across the country. Using bitcoin for the purchase of movie tickets is a very welcomed development. The cinema / film house is one place people visit a lot and thus using bitcoin to purchase the tickets will help spread bitcoin usage more across the country. Nice one Brazil.

Hopefully this kind of paying method in buying the tickets all over the world be like this. Because here in Philipines, we still can't make use of our crypto currencies for movie tickets.

Nowadays, Bitcoin really brings fresh news to their holders. yeah, there are many more industries in some certain countries that accept Bitcoin to be one of the payment transaction methods. The influence? Of course, many people will believe more in this crypto, moreover, BTC has more availability and utility in real-world usage. We can enhance our hope that many more countries will accept Bitcoin as their part of industries and financial system and transaction methods.

This is great news. I haven't tried paying in BTC for cinema tickets though I think this is already possible here in the Philippines long before because of how remittance and money transfers are booming here nowadays. It's actually great also that they thought of using cryptocurrency for their political data gathering. Though not sure if most data is accurate as the technology is not yet used massively. On their country maybe?

I wonder how many people actually use something like this. Sure, a business can accept Bitcoin, but is there any people who use it, with its relatively slow confirmation time (unless it uses LN). It seems like the majority of people only buy or use Bitcoin for trading/investment though, not sure how this cinema will 'convince' people to use Bitcoin here.
Nevertheless, it's a good sign that more business provider accepts and recognize Bitcoin as a means of payment. Hopefully, people will start to use Bitcoin regularly too. More than you think, because unlike other services, buying tickets for events can be done in advance with hours of planning. It would be possible to do this under most circumstances without LN. I have seen people do this with credit cards before so, it sounds like the natural next step. Only if you are minutes before starting, then sure, it could be a bit troublesome unless they are already using LN. But then again most cinemas here use to waste the first 30 minutes with commercials and movie trailers, so they might actually be making you a favor... Having a " BTC accepted here" sign does bring exposure and coolness, because "new and trendy" etc...

It is good for Brazil choosing bitcoin as payment for any different store. Thanks to that country because it can help cryptocurrency to advertise to the citizen to invest also to bitcoin not only to use it. It is perfect for the couple, family and individual who are really loves to watch movies because they can pay their bitcoin to buy tickets and if they are bitcoin user it is perfect combination..

Adaptation comes slowly. Hope over a period of time.people will be open minded when it comes to bitcoin.
The problem here in the Philippines in bitcoin is the transaction fee from purchasing bitcoon down conversion to bitcoin and vice versa. It is so costly so people here tend to use the other online payment rather than bitcoin.

For sure the more we adopt the more technologies grow, and those companies are actually working for the progress of bitcoin, it is being use for different purposes as currency, bus and other transportation in brazil, so in this way I must say brazil seems to be progressive according to usage of bitcoin as compare to other countries.

Well as you've said bro, it will come slowly. And being able to use btc for simple purchases and transactions like buying movie tickets is avery good start for that. We're seeing crypto atms now, online stores accepting btc and top alts, we're going the right way. And that's even after so many negative news and comments from people who are against bitcoin.

I can imagine waiting for 1 confirmation during peak periods. "Sorry, your seat has been taken. Please try another" LOL, I also think about that but I expect that you can buy movie tickets at home if they are accepting Bitcoin as a means of payment to buy movie tickets in Brazil so I supposed that waiting in a queue would not be a problem anymore, and think about it who would buy a movie ticket using Bitcoin in the ticket booth when it is easier to buy using an application? But if they are only selling tickets directly in their ticket booth and not selling online that would be a problem if there some sort of network congestions.

I imagine if 200 people want to go to the cinema and pay with bitcoins, it will probably be a very large queue, bitcoin is in fact not suitable for payment in stores , there are faster coins that accept payment per second , but the fact that the cryptocurrency is accepted in payment is pleasing !

As the law of supply and demand states, as the demand increases, the price increases so if a lot of people will use it to buy tickets, BTC's price will rise.
