It's my first time buying that cryptocurrency. "Maybe the first "BTC to GRIN" conversion in this forum." Cheesy

Currently, I want to exchange 0.002 Bitcoin (BTC) to XX Grin (GRIN) "initial conversion."
And then convert 0.02 Bitcoin (BTC) to XX Grin (GRIN)  "total 0.022BTC".

Conversion based on the conversion tool found here [1].

My grin address: gVvaxMtiUneBK7G349SnaVJGsx2VpgZpZ2CLRmVeFbkR31CjdM3d
I can receive through the file but I prefer address. "PM me for file"

I have considered buying it too, but for now it looks like it's really hard for it to keep its price.

You need to know that since the GRIN emission rate is constant, the supply is made to be infinite.

You can clearly see this through the chart :

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/grin/

If the GRIN price goes up, miners are going to mine & sell it, and it's going to keep going back down.

GRIN is awesome for a transactional coin, for several reasons (scalability, privacy, asic-resistant pow algo...) but you're really wrong if you think the coin is going to pick up in value any time soon. People don't WANT it to do that, even if it does, then the influx of GH/s is going to very quickly balance it out because of the inflation rate.

It's not like this, but I want to keep some real altcoins for (1-3) years and then compare the change with BTC.
Almost will keep BTC, ETH, XMR, and GRIN.

My motives are not economic, but if we talk about it economically, I think your point is wrong.

As long as there is more demand "which looks like it will happen in the future," the price will rise but not at the same pace as Bitcoin due to mining.
Expected scenarios:

 - Lots of sudden peaks and bottoms.
 - Stable price but at higher levels "for example the price at $ 200 and the change of $ 1 and then rise to the barrier $ 500 and stability for a period with a change of $ 1.

Maybe you're right, but maybe you're not. You're only banking on some sort of massive increase in interest. I don't see that happening, and even if it does, people with a lot of money will most likely be told to rather mine it.

GRIN is built on top of a system that will forever be on a stable decline. Bitcoin's finite supply will mean that the more time goes, the harder it is to acquire the coins, and the more valuable each one will be. But for GRIN, 50 GRIN every minute from here on to eternity means that in the very long run, it's more likely for it to go down in value, despite of fluctuations.

Best of luck bud however I find KingZee's explanations very are reasonable. Grin is good for payment but not for long run. Thanks KingZee for the knowledge.

Cheers :-)

You could use this sites service if you are looking to exchange btc to grn then back again
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5096550.0
The side is Sideshift AI and I think they are nearly a month old but added grin coin back in January 23rd.
They have a code there everybody is asking for to use on their site. So they are still asking for people to try them out to see how their exchanges go.

I would not advise anyone to risk their money with a site which have not build up a minimum reputation yet. It's better to deal here with another user using trusted escrow. It's safer.

Cheers :-)

It is on coinmarketcap. So why you are not selling on exchanges why you can save your time and also there you will not loss anything also there will have almost no chance to be scammed.

All the exchanges promoting it were pretty shady, byt its just recently been added to poloniex. Maybe you can buy it on there op? The volume is picking up decently

I do not care about all altcoins, so my experience on the platforms is almost nonexistent. "In fact, I only tried three exchange platforms." I thought the exchange here would be a bit faster, especially since I do not know anything about that currency.

Overall, I will buy through poloniex and will lock this topic.
If there is someone willing to sell, PM me.
