I'm on the same boat with this. OP is one of the few users on my trust list because I trust his judgement, ratings, and thorough analyses.
I've been playing with the thought of dropping myself off DT1 by making a trust list <10 too. I figured it could make a statement, especially since I'm the most included DT1 after theymos. There's too much drama with DT1, and this might be a good way to show I don't like it. I haven't done it yet, but I'm still thinking about it.
I was fine being DT2, and haven't added anyone unique to my trust list anyway.

The criteria is you should have a costume trust list to be included in DT1

Your feedbacks seems like a very good warning for some community members to avoid spams and you deserve a DT1 position I think. Still if you don't want to be there please at least keep up with a DT2 position. It would help large number of newbies to get your important posted feedbacks noticed which would avoid spam.

It could cause a jail-brake experience to many scammer for sure.

i am afraid this is not possible, you see what the Italian mafias in the movies do when a member wants out? nothing stressing on the "gang" theory b.s , but this is someway similar. by tagging scammers you engage in something bigger than you, whether you know it or not, and you can't leave that easily.

If you are coming to this as a sort of "end" then let tell you a few things:

1. Those who are trying to help keep a community clean from scammers at their level best will be facing a lot of retaliation. That is not for them to listen to.  Humans always act with that defense that they didnt scam anyone even when they had the intention of doing so. If you are giving up on your DT level then you are throwing in the towel in the fight. Think about the time you spent researching and saving some innocent people from getting scammed. <<feels like a babysitter at times   but it is what it is.

2.It wont make a difference to the scammers. Sadly. However taking a break will help you.

3.If you feel its stressing you too much take some time out. It really helps. Sitting in front of your device all day will make you depressed. Take a walk outside and spend sometime with your family and friends. Not sure if I am getting the point that you are trying to put in?

We are speculating this is marlboroza's reason for self excluding from DT1, but if it is, then I can't blame him. In the grand scheme of things I'm still pretty new here, and I'm already totally bored with the amount of drama surrounding DT, the infighting, the retaliatory feedback, the PMs of begging/abuse, etc. I can only imagine how frustrating it must be to have entire threads opened for the sole reason of bitching about you.

I, like most people I'm sure, joined this forum to read, learn and discuss bitcoin, not to get caught up in constant bickering.

I have no idea what went wrong with you. I am so sorry to hear this.

I always found you very useful for the community however no one is 100% perfect so don't you. In life we find us in odd moments, the moments we don't like and we can not take it anymore but that does not mean we give up that we are doing. If you are unsure about yourself then just look around in the forum. There are a lot of people supporting you. They would not do that if you were wrong in everything.

I never had any personal issue with you however I was upset with you because several times I felt that your aggression to me was influenced by wrong people. Because of this reason I distrusted you but I never wanted you to be removed from DT.
