Print option doesn't work if there are 400+ pages!

When I try to use the print option I see a blank page.

Any suggestions?

For the rare occasion that I need to do things like this I use the adobe to PDF printer plugin and just print the PDF file (http://www.adobe.com/uk/products/acrobat/print-to-pdf.html) there's many free alternatives to this but it should give you an idea
The only major downside to this is you can't use the view all option on a huge thread like that.
