It's good for a traditional US tech company accepting modern form of payment. It would certainly give a good message to both crypto community and large companies as it would boost the use of cryptocurrency and make them useful in daily life while would increase revenues for the large companies as people would be more willing to pay on their terms.

This telecom is one of the largest in the world and a major one in US. This signifies a significant role in payments by the US tech company. This would certainly resonate among th tech companies and also the crypto community creating awareness for the possibility of using crypto for payment

https://www.cnet.com/news/pay-your-at-t-bill-with-bitcoin/Customers can now pay their phone bill through bitcoin in AT&Ts website and mobile app. This is the first major US mobile carrier to accept cryptocurrency as payments. The payments would be through bitpay payment processor and the currencies that would be accepted are bitcoin and bitcoincash. I am considering this a big good news for bitcoin! This can be a good addition to a growing list of big companies now under the Bitcoin umbrella and we are hoping that more can be coming from the telecom industry. AT&T is a recognized leader of this industry and am sure that its membership would be happy for this important news. This is the kind of adoption we are waiting for...we need famous merchants accepting bitcoin because partly they are also advertising for the whole cryptocurrency movement. |

Welp, it's AT&T and you know how big the company is. What will be the next big news? I guess other leading giant telco's will also announce that they're joining and will start accepting bitcoin as payment.

This is good news as giants are gradually accepting Bitcoin as a form of payment. Is this an opportunity to help Bitcoin change the entire world, making it acceptable as a common currency? I hope that this is one of the rights starts to create a chain reaction that many big companies in the world accept Bitcoin as an official currency.

AT&T is one of the biggest telecommunication companies in the world is going to accept Bitcoin through BitPay after Overstock, Expedia, Subway, Shopify, Microsoft, and Whole Foods. The corporate acceptance of Bitcoin is changing the flow of the crypto market and smoothly increasing its global arena of influence.

Another good opportunity for AT&T customers to avail themselves of using bitcoin as means of Bill payment this is coming on heels of the price of bitcoin rising and increase in its volume traded.
This will open up bitcoin acceptance by many Tech companies in US as it growing adoptions will spurn it accelerated growth and development as a digital currency globally.

Yes, I heard this good news yesterday, I was quite happy with what the telecommunications company was doing. But I'm a little surprised, why didn't Bitcoin experience a big pump yesterday even though this news was quite large.
Although I'm sure the price of bitcoin will continue to rise, now I think that the big good news is not necessarily making a pump, because the pump is held by the whales.

Companies mostly accept bitcoin through a third party vendor. Very few actually accept it themselves, but we have to start somewhere. I'm still happy to hear this news as AT&T is one of the biggest companies in the world. Just another step on the road to mass adoption for crypto.
