Hi! I'm the French translator for PAYCORE Ann... I've been reported for plagiarism, and I must say I'm not responsible for this, as I was just asked to write a french translation of the English Ann.
So, that's what I did, I'm not part of the PAYCORE Team or anything

Could you please remove this unfair report on my profile?

Thanks for your consideration...

I'm gonna remove the French Ann, I don't support plagiarism...

Promoting a scam will make you part of the scam. When you completely delete/lock the topic that is helping the scammer we will remove the red tag.

Just posting a warning message like this on top of the thread will not help "WARNING : this project apparently has copied another project's whitepaper... I'm just a translator here..."

I tried to delete the topic but I couldn't delete my own post, according to the forum's reaction... So I locked it.

"Supporting a scam" is a bold statement... first of all, how am I supposed to know if the whitepaper was copied from any other project? Check every existing projects' whitepapers and see if there's anything wrong?

And again... I was JUST offered to translate the Bitcoin Ann (which...did not include the whitepaper), how does that make me a "scam promoter"?

Please remove this negative trust, I'm really offended by that and this is really similar to slander. I did NOT copy ANYTHING...I was missioned by a project team to translate a forum Announcement into another language, and now I'm a "victim" of this because it happens this Team copy-pasted another project's whitepaper?

In the same state of mind, will we stigmatize every members of every discord or telegram group that happened to be scams, just because they were part of it and...victims of it too?

If PAYCORE is a scam, then I've spent some of my own time to do something that they could use.

That doesn't make me a scammer, but a victim. Thanks for not stigmatizing everyone, again...

"When you completely delete/lock the topic that is helping the scammer we will remove the red tag." -> I locked the topic, tried to delete it but couldn't. Thanks for removing the negative trust

Red tag was removed. I asked the other DT that gave you red tag to consider since you locked the thread.

And yes, if you created something for a scammer, you are indirectly helping a scammer to promote a scam. ANd you got (or will get) paid, right? (tokens for your service)
Many people will read your translation and possible will invest in the scam.

For the future - try to research projects that you will be promoting (translating) - because next time a red tag will not be removed.

Here is a good source to check the whitepaper of ICOs - https://smallseotools.com/plagiarism-checker/

Thanks for removing the red tag...
Let's agree to disagree, about the "involved in a scam = scammer" part... moreover if it's a "scam" - which I'm still not sure about! Right, they copied some parts of other whitepapers... I'm even wondering if the Team did that, or if they missionned someone to write it for them, as it often happens... in that case the real scammer is the one who wrote the WP.

But I guess this is a neverending discussion Wink

Thank you for the link! It may be helpful

Bottom line is = They are responsible for all content created for their project - whitepaper, website, team, etc... And they should check it carefully before starting a project asking for money from investors.
Also they didnt just "copied some parts" - it is a BLATANT plagiarism. - check all the other pages.

Here is a good source to check the whitepaper of ICOs - https://smallseotools.com/plagiarism-checker/

That's a nifty little tool. I've just been using Google this whole time but this is better. I tested it out and right away I found on example, from this project's whitepaper:

https://smallseotools.com/view-report/2e6e4ca136a1c44460c20224fc3ad821/

(its the second sentence but there's hardly any text in the whitepaper so its probably not worth going after)

Looks like Paycore scammer has another possible scam posted. Someone with more time, please investigate this one. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5117789.0 (SMM Coin)

I took a look at the website and most of their links don't work: no white paper, no downloadable clients, no team members, no nothing.

Some of their content listed in the OP of the thread was plagiarized from this website:

https://www.kanara.lk/

For example, from the SMM Coin thread:

Quote
We create content that reinforces your SEO goals, while transforming visitors the organic listings into customers.

Original:

We create content that reinforces your SEO goals, while transforming visitors the organic listings into customers.

Utter garbage. But its a self-moderated thread and the guy already has 3 negative trusts.

Thank you for the research. There isn't much there to accuse them officially of a scammer, but just by looking who is posting/promoting them, it is already obvious.
