Is there a future for BTC anymore?

The price is around $3500 now.  Price has only went down.  If it does go up, it goes back down later on.  Does anyone here think there is no future for btc anymore?  When the price went to 5k then 10k then 15k and then close to 20k, i thought... wow i think by end of 2018 it would be 50k at least.  And then it dropped all the way down and now its even worst.  I had thought mcafee prediction of 1 million in few year was foolish.  But i thought by then, 100k would seem very reasonable.  Now... it doesn't even look like it will hit 10k even for a very long time.Does anyone here there is no future for btc anymore?  Anyone that has bought btc and held it for the last 1.5 year already is down a lot of money unless you are trading and even then most traders are losing.



I had thought wow if btc would go up to 50k, that would be a decent size of money.  And if it go to 100k, i would be happy.  And if it ever goes to 300k, wow that would be more than good enough.  I did thought about hey imagine btc goes up to 1 million, then well most people would be millionaires if they had at least 2 btc etc.  So someone with 5 btc would feel very good.  But now... it doesn't seem like any of this would happen anytime soon?  There is basically no progress at all for btc.. it keeps going down.



I thought to myself... wow if btc goes to a high enough price, i might not have to worry about money anymore.  Thus anyone here with a job or no job or low paying job or whatnot, btc might be enough to not worry about money anymore.  I mean i'm sure tons of people thought about this right? 

Go bit deeper. Do not take the trend of alone 2017 reporting from $5k to $20k. Take yearly trend. In 2016, BTC price was between $500 to $700, in 2017, the price started from around $1000 and went upto nearly $21K. 2018 price traveled between $3700 to $5000. So 2016 at 600, 2017 at $1000,
 and 2018 at $4000. So BTC growth is tremendous.

There is still hope and progress in Bitcoin despite its bearish trend. Don't rush on things, it takes time for it to recover. As the king of all cryptocurrencies it has so much potential to grow and its mass adoption will continue to increase. Lol. You're looking at it at a very shallow angle if you think progress depends on btc's price. Yeah it has a big effect on how majority of people view it, but bitcoin is more than it's value. Its technology and may very well shape how we do transactions in the future. The price would follow on its own.

Majority of people are judging the progress of bitcoin by the pump of few years ago which is quite wrong because I feel they lack the understanding of the whole cryptocurrency thing, price is a very wrong approaching to seeing the progress of the currency but it should be based on stability, it is high time bitcoin stabilizes and give way for its usage.

Now a days, bitcoin is being treated as a store value and it is being adopted in our daily life, it will gradually play its role of replacement for fiats and at the same time will benefit people through its store of value too. This way bitcoin got definite future and we never need to doubt on that. Still, we must give it enough time to groom on its own pace of developments.

Bitcoin is not that  popular on its first launch because people are not yet aware about its existence but as soon as the time passes by , the popularity of bitcoin is also rising . when it comes to fuds , fuds cannot take bitcoin down because fuds are not true  .  fuds is only the same as speculations where they dont have real evidence  . there is no problem at all , bitcoin is still expected to have a bright future ahead .
