Of course there is a future for BTC and cryptocurrencies in general. IMHO It has very bright future ahead. Just because we are in a prolonged consolidation period it doesn't mean that we are not going to go for a new ATH as we did before. The fundamentals and adoption are raising like crazy. I strongly believe that in the next bull market we will test $100k.

indeed the price of bitcoin can reach that expensive but you must know the price movement of bitcoin is difficult to predict when the price of bitcoin can reach that price, if for the long term it can be due to the influence of the total supply of bitcoin but no one knows when that happens.

The only thing that would increase the price is the demand, the supply will never be change, it's still limited and will not grow.
Only the demand will grow and some coins might be lost in the circulation over time as some people might forget their wallet passwords or like in the case of death and no other person know aside from the owner.

+1 you don't get rich by playing it safe. If that were true everyone would be filthy rich.

Bitcoin is your best bet for getting rich without having to do anything. Just buy and wait.
Your second best bet would be to buy an expensive sportscar with <10 on the spedometer and lock it away for 40 years and hope it becomes a classic.

P.S. I regret stopping with mining because I could only min BTC0.02 in a day. Now that would be $80 a day. Free $29k a year in todays price. $146k a year in ATH price.

Dreams about the fact that Bitcoin will once cost a million dollars is fine, but this does not mean that by this time all those who now have 5 Bitcoins will still have them, most people will sell everything that has much earlier. People are very greedy and most of them will sell all their coins when Bitcoin costs just above 20,000.

I don't think so, I have kept bitcoin since the price of $1000 in the past 2 years, many holders still keep their bitcoin in their wallets, because they are confident in the future of bitcoin. if you see a lot of users selling because they are greedy, they are traders and it is only natural for them to do that

For me, I don’t see the activities of traders as being greedy because they still end up buying bitcoin to trade. Imagine that I have 1 BTC to trade with, it must surely be in my BTC wallet in BTC market, if I trade with part of it, let’s say 0.1btc and I make gain of 0.2btc back, won’t I still keep it in my BTC wallet ? This is what I do, so it is not every trader that takes their money off btc completely, some traders uses it to increase their holding in Bitcoin.

Most people that fully sell their BTC are either whales or people that have one challenge or the other and needs to quickly sell off their BTC at lower price which we will always still have someone interested to buy it back and still keep it in BTC wallet.

For death, I don’t wish death for my fellow brother except they are old enough for death but for missing wallet password, I really wish this can happen to most of the account that are making the life of cryptocurrency miserable with their dumping acts, or those that has scammed people and dumping the coin on us virtually on daily basis,  at least if we can have a major whale that will forget his wallet password with huge amount of bitcoins in it, it will make Bitcoin to stabilize in order to gain more momentum for the bull run.

We really need more demands, we need more users and we need more long term investors and more crypto asset holdlers to experience a fast upward price trend.

In other words you can say that,  it's a valuable asset that rises and falls also.
So IMO first of all you shouldn't be disappointed by seeing the downfall of BTC. If you have seen the time when BTC was 20k$, then you should keep hope in yourself.
Moreover the price is currently down due to less investors.

I have no idea how others say that bitcoin has no future especially when it is massively promoted and integrated in a lot of services. Nowdays whatsapp and probably kakaotalk is going to integrate bitcoin payment via messangers, you will be able to send btc to anyone in messenger. Bearish does not occur at any time, and history teaches us that prices will definitely recover. You explain how prices rise in a 5-year period. and that's proof of your belief.

True but that's not greed but impatient. Many people are already fed-up of waiting because of the constant price changes in Bitcoin is like they unexpected. In 2017 many people believe that the price will keep on topping without stopping till crosses more than $25k but what they are forgetting is that for a bigger price of bitcoin in the future it needs corrections.

We did reach to the moon that time, as a holder  I also fail to sell at that good timing.
Maybe have sold some but my plan was to sell higher, I was too attached with the constant price increase and was thinking it will break another ATH.
I have proven myself wrong now, but I should not regret, I just have to wait more in order to see the bull run again.

Yes, of course there is a future for BTC. Prices are volatile, that means there are big dips as well as big rises. It also means that when the market hits a low point as it has recently, this doesn't spell the end - it is merely the low point in the cycle, and we are already seeing big movements back upwards as the recovery starts in earnest.
A dip doesn't mean the end of crypto, just as a high price won't necessarily always stay high.
BTC has a huge future, whether that's as a store of value, or speed with LN, or something else with developments that have yet to happen.

In any case, success requires real relevance in society. Not one coin in the cryptocurrency market will not show good results if investors are not interested in this project. That is the key to success.
