We posted on their ANN and we expect them to answer to this accusation. Any serious company would defend themselves and provide valid evidence.
In this case, a FAKE CEO image - stealing someone's identity - is not good for them.

Thanks too for getting further details about the real person behind the profile. Am also waiting for them to come out and defend themselves instead of using newbie accounts  to bump their ANN thread as I have seen a few moments back.

The executive board of Bitbook.ag hired Andres Martinez as nominee director to represent the company. Having a nominee director is common practice in Costa Rica and other Caribbean countries.

However due to mistake of the company register agent, they provided us with the wrong photo, and that photo belonged to Diego Marquez Arango. Since Andres Martinez resides in Costa Rica and has not met other members of the team and has facial similarity with Diego Marquez Arango this mistake went unnoticed.

After detecting this issues Bitbook.ag took immediate action to solve this issues and assures that the responsible people will be penalised.

As a proof of our statement we are attaching registration document of Bitbook.ag as well the identification document of Andres Martinez.

Same old excuse time after time when scammers here are busted for having fake profiles. I think you guys need to work on a new excuse because that line is getting pretty boring these days.

1. You hired a man who is supposed to be your CEO and you even don't know how he looks like?

2. How does the man in the ID even have any facial similarity with Diego Marquez Arango?
All you did was copy and image from a different website (which is funny because it had the name Diego Marquez Arango) and then you put it into your website and started calling him Andres Martinez (Photo is 100% a match, not even a slight distortion)

3. Diego Felipe Márquez Arango is an associate attorney from Colombia, how does his picture end up into the company registry books in Costa Rica, which is 1,191 km way?
I tell you how... It's through a scam online casino and ICO.

This is either very incompetent of a "huge" casino that is looking to raise millions via crowdfunding, or another sloppy attempt to cover up your true identity in an attempt to keep the scam afloat for a couple more weeks. This aside, the project doesn't look very unique and there are much better options out there such as stake, primedice, bitsler, fortunejack. You aren't really solving a problem here (because there isn't one) with the project, but you are asking for millions.

It also says you've sold 300,000,077 BXK Tokens which roughly equate to 22MIL? Is there proof of this, because I am unable to find such proof of these sales.

1. You really don't know what nominee director means? Have a look here: http://www.businessdictionary.com/definition/nominee-director.html
It's a very common practice with off-shore companies to protect the identity of the real owners. And yes, the real owners most often never meet with this nominee director.

2. To me they do look a bit a like. Not much, but I can understand how this could have gone unnoticed. The photo on your ID is often not the best of you.

3. Because we have internet. In my opinion it's possible that the legal agency in Costa Rica did some business with legal agency from Columbia and thus had a photo of this other person in their possession. And I guess they just mixed it up, because people are stupid and mistakes happen.

To me this explanation sounds plausible. And since they provided documents to support this, the only mistake I see is the wrong photo and I can totally believe that mistakes with photos can happen.
Based on high volume marketing they do, they have money and rich people are not gonna steal peanuts. Managing legit casino is much more profitable than running a scam. You're not gonna be able to scam lot of money with an ICO these days, but you can make millions with legit online casino. So what's the point to scam?

And if you wonder why these guys hired a nominee director in a first place, well it's because crazy people will be pounding on their doors if something bad happens, and I guess they just want to protect their families from all the rage guys like you can provoke.

How I see this, all those negative comments come from people that are just angry and jerks. This forum is generally very negative and full of hate, it's easy to do this hidden behind an nickname, because online you don't risk getting your ass kicked.

And if you are wondering why I'm writing from a "newbie" account. Well it's because I want to protect my real account, and don't want some "full" or "hero" member asshole giving me negative trust, just because he does not agree with me, and yes I have seen this happen on several occasions. This forum is full of cronyism: if you don't agree with us, we will destroy you.

P.S. And your comments about bumping service? Shit. You expect that ICO will not try to promote them? There's nothing wrong in bumping a topic, it's just marketing. If you want to blame someone, blame the administrator for not allowing ICOs to advertise on Bitcointalk. Perhaps if he would allow, there would be no reason to use other means.

This forum is becoming the cleanest place for legitimate ICOs, thanks to the hard work of the community exposing scams.

But unfortunately, there are people out there that don't want to see the forum clean from scams/scammers - and appear that you are one of them.

Regarding your comment indicating that the company is "on default" due to tax obligations, that´s not right. In February, corpoation taxes (called "impuesto a las personas jurídicas") started to be charged. And, during February will be paid accordingly (it´s, more or less US$ 225). But it is important to understand that there are no collecting proceedings or any other legal or adminitrative charge in progress against Bitbook.

Ignacio Guzman - your legal advisor - didn't answer the questions - just the one about taxes.  But the government website still showing that your company is in default - It is up to investors to trust what your lawyer says or to trust the website of the government of Costa Rica.

The other two questions were not explained - such as the difference between manager and director, as clearly state on the document that he is the manager. Also the document was not authenticated and it is already an expired certification.

As far as trusting who your manager/director is now, it is up to investors. In this business of ICO, with so many scams already caught out there with a fake team, it doesnt look good for any project and especially when such ICO project blame someone else for their own mistake. I would recommend you to make a video and provide to investors.

About calling you a scam - we are not calling you a scam. You were caught with a fake team member - which is what scammers are doing in the ICO business.
We posted on your ANN - "scam accusation"+ link to this thread. That is not calling you a scam or scammer, but we rephrased that to "Fake team member" + link to this thread.

We asked him about his participation in previous scam and also about his article teaching how to scam a company. He refused to answer questions - and moved the thread.

Bottom line, we believe this project is very suspicious and investors should seriously consider investing in this project.

As we see - They had a Fake team member - which they replaced with a new one and provided documents, which is not authenticated and it is expired.

I agree with you how can someone as high level as a CEO be provided with a mistaken identity? How did they even obtained that picture in the first place for their company? The picture they have took are on the lawyer's profile page for his firm's website and no one could have actually obtain that from anywhere except from downloading it purposely. A lot of red flagged ICOs from their fake team have used your reasoning already that someone from their departments "have used the wrong photo".

Confirmed scam.
They tried so much to cover their tracks but the so called "CMO" blew the cover wide open.
Anybody who goes ahead and uses their gambling platform or participates i the ICO will be considered not mentally upright.
