You were not the only one who was surprised by the new interface of the myetherwallet site. At first I was wary, but thanks to the bitcointalk theme, I realized that everything was ok. By the way, ETHERSCAN also changed its appearance.

From time to time the MEW site has made improvements in terms of security and interface. It was wrong for the users if they were caught in a phishing website because MEW had told them to avoid it on the first page.

Yes, a few days ago MEW has updated their interface very new, so you can still use it safely. They are a very secure website so there will be no hacking

So far MEW looks more reliable than many exchanges, I think that the new offline wallet from MEW is very convenient, but I'll wait a little more before use it to the full.

I use Myetherwallet to store coins that are held in the long term, to protect myself it is best not to go into the wallet if there is no need and you need to download the browser extension.

There were little changes made to their outlook design and it's no flag off of a phshing site,but it's great your alert when it comes to security,and you ask questions when you see something strange,you will hardly fall a victim to little scams if you continue this way.
But if i'm to advice you,i will simply advice against keeping coins in exchanges,i know it can be a difficult one for active traders not to do,but you'll be safer storing your coins in a preferred wallet(hardware wallets most preferably)

I think yes. Same as etherscan that recently change their website look. To prevent you from accesing fake website or phising website, you better bookmark it, or use metamask.

and be careful with fake metamask plugins, which will steal private key data easily. make sure to download Metamask on the official website.
phishing metamask is mainly in the browser chrome plugin, be careful and check everything

Yeah that seems to be the case, they have a new design. It's beautiful, but for me, it doesn't makes any difference, as long as you know how to used MEW and setting up transactions then you're good to go. Of course everyone should be mindful of the correct URL otherwise you might end up losing your tokens because of phishing and DNS spoofing.

You coud go to Myetherwallet website through their twitter page to be 100% sure.  Then you can bookmark the website for future use. The real twitter page has blue checkmark

MEW has some new features and a more robust user interface right now. But please confirm the website from MEW twitter page, to be sure. Please be mindful of the sites you input your private key, or better still use a web 3 browser extension like metamask.

Yes, myetherwallet now has a new version but if you used to use the old version then for now you can also use the old version, by pressing the home menu, I also use the old version myself.
