How long have CoinInvestBank been operating? Is it trustworthy?

I registered because of their promotion that you get 5000 DGB on your account as soon as you register. Now I need to wait 60 days before I can trade these coins or withdraw them. I am a bit sceptical but I guess it's worth a try. If you want to get 5000 DigiByte coins as well, there is a link in my signature.

What impression did I get about this new exchange? It doesn't look like a classic crypto exchange. Actually I'm not sure if it is an exchange at all. I think it's more like a crypto bank as the name suggests. A bank where you can store coins or invest them to their Investbox. There is option to exchange coins but as far as I understood this is done via 3rd party exchanges like Bit-Z or Coinbase which are connected to CIB. I'm really not sure.

Did you guys try their Investbox with your own deposited coins? Basically you lock your coins (BTC, ETH, DGB, NEO, whatever) for either 1 hour/1day/1 week or 1 month and you receive interests for example 1% per day. So you lock 1 ETH and get 1.01 ETH after 24 hours. What do you think? Too good to be true? Is it legit or not?
One more thing. I had a question for support and they answered the same day.

Never heard of these guys. But, a simple whois query reveals that the date of registration of this domain is 2018-05-31.

Are you referring to coininvestbank.com? Because it's shady as hell. It's like a website done by a single person that doesn't know how to run an exchange or a business in general. I'm not saying it's 100% a scam though, just very unprofessional.

1. The owner/developer didn't do any search engine optimization on this website at all. It's amateurish.

2. Facebook social media link at the bottom of the page links to their Facebook API instead of just an actual page? What. That's a no for me dawg.

3. Their Twitter description(https://twitter.com/coininvestbank)

It looks like a desperate attempt to pull off an exit scam. If you look at how silly everything is set up, and that it is very likely a one man show, the overall image of everything that this site represents gets even more ugly.

Even if the person behind this site has the best intentions in the world to make it work in an honest manner, it will either get hacked one day, or the situation becomes unworkable and he will disappear with people's funds.

In general, if a site uses the term investment in its domain, it is very likely going to end bad. It's done to attract noobs looking for a way to invest and earn without doing anything. It's a trap.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

Giving away $40 for registration and 1% interest is already a big red flag to me. Even if it's legit it's quite possible he'll run out of business soon. There is no volume on the exchange, so where did the interest comes from? Either user deposit or he'll just not give it to you.

This is too good to be true and shady af. Better stop promoting this exchange if I were you.

True. Upon further inspection, it's not even 1% a month or 1% a year; we're talking about 1% a day here. It's simply one of those "too good to be true" offers.

Also, stated on their About page:
Dear members, Welcome to join with coininvestbank.com. You can go to Dashboard => Account => Information to get short link links to share friends, then receive commissions and coins in the following proportions: Level I: receive 10% of F1 profits. Level II: (minimum 10 F1): receive 10% profit from F1 and 5% profit F2... etc etc

Yeap. It's a ponzi scheme. and take a look at that grammar!

Yeah, 100 percent some lazy exchange that'll exit scam as soon as someone deposits anything of value. Logo seems like a copy of crypterium's logo (or at least that's what it reminds me off), the site's poorly done and the owner has no idea on how to do SEO. 1% interest roughly translates to around 100% interest in 3 months, which is higher then most ponzi's. Don't even register, the owner is probably so desperate he'll sell your emails as a database to some unsuspecting ICO owner.

Absolutely shady offer because it is too good to be true, giving away 5000DGB  worth more than $40 for every new registration is impossible. Who the hell in this world are so generous to give such amount. Can you imagine if there are 10k users = $400k? For free? It does not make any senses at all.

Seems like someone is trying to copy yobit's business model here.

I'd say that there is pretty much no chance that they are legit with this giveaway. Very likely that they will put out some sort of condition of withdrawal once the funds become withdrawable or simply exit scam before that 60 days even passes. What's there to stop abuse in terms of one person signing up for multiple accounts? Think about that.

The investbox isn't something that I'd get involved with. Yobit has done this as I said, and they are shady as hell. No way this kind of interest is sustainable. They are most likely running a ponzi of some sort, and that is if anyone gets paid at all. Do not use.

One more thing. I had a question for support and they answered the same day.

Now 66 days later, after the "lock up" period it turns out that you can't move the DGB, who would of thought it! The min withdrawal amount from this "website" is 5,000, and of course there is a small fee 0.003. It also strangely says I have 5,000 out of 10,000 DGB, suggesting that I might need 5K more to unlock the other 5K? Especially since the minimum deposit is 5,000 DGB (around $55) - which is ridiculous to say the least. I doubt I only need 0.003 or 5K. Lol: no thanks.
PS - There's no exchange, you can only deposit and withrawal to other wallets or exchanges. Basically the perfect set up for a scam collecting DGB by looks of it.
