Hashrate wise: no. The same settings on the samge GPU should always get the same hashrate.

Logistics wise: yes. Issue #1 is physically fitting 5 GPUs in there, so risers become necessary. The more cards you have on one MB, the more important using powered risers instead of unpowered becomes. It's also pretty easy to pick up a PSU that can power 1 GPU, but it's a little harder to find one that can power 5 with no issues (hint: buy a single 12V rail). Then you've got the move the heat away from the GPUs. Usually a few case fans, or a box fan, are needed.

Im not too sure I explained myself clearly enough.
Its ok I have an 8 G/hs scrypt setup, so I know all about heat, power, last card in the row etc.
What I meant was their are two ways of starting CGminer.
Either one version of CGminer per card OR one version of CGminer per say 5 cards.

So my question is, Is it better to combine the hashrate per CGMiner OR leave each card singley operating per CGMiner, OR it makes no difference?  Grin
