Why the new post if this is not a new launch?

Every other message in the old thread was littered with disparaging remarks from a former team member who had been removed from the team. Bitcointalk would not do anything about it and we received multiple complaints about the thread being littered with said remarks. The old thread was replaced (and archived). It was not removed.
