Lots of Newbie Accounts Created!

Hello all,

Recently, I saw lots of newly created newbie accounts creating thread to promote an obvious scam site, selling a script/product for a high price or offer a service where the statement is you can earn $50 to $250 and the newbies created a thread might already deleted his/her. Why did I create this thread? I created this thread to inform jr. members, real newbies and to those who doesn't know any of these in here to stay away first and start an investigation. At the moment, most of them create threads in Gambling and they may also create on other boards.

This is a well-known ways of spammers who promoting a useless method or any product here on the forum.
They are promoting their product by making multiple accounts and multiple threads just to get a higher impression and get sales.

What you can do now is just report them using the report button if you find duplicate threads created by a spammer.

Or report them to a plagiarism thread from here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.0

So that the owner of the thread can be banned.

And honestly, most of the victims buying useless methods or product from digital goods are those people outside of this forum. So to prevent this I think moderator should make a newbie warning in digital goods to inform new comers about scammers and let them know to check the product or method if it's legit or not like vouch review from high rank members or trusted members.

That should be an obvious red flag.
You see a brand-new account which is a few hours old trying to share some links or sell something, just ignore or act with caution. But most of these accounts break the rules anyway through spamming and so many other crimes. So I do report to the mods as much as I can

You can't spot more obvious ways of scam. Especially from newbie accounts its another red flag.
Well even if this will save one person from beign scammed its worth it.

I don't know if I can spot more but one thing i'm for sure that a full member in the thread I saw ask the op if the free btc giveaway ( Obvious Scam attempt ) posted by a newbie account, I was thinking about the full member guy ( seriously, are you kidding me? ). That kind of type of person will lose their crypto. I received a PM in telegram from Zedd FF, profile unknown, mobile unknown, his/her telegram picture is a person with a box in his/her with "question mark" written in it.

Except if they are advertising phshing links or fake products as well as offering scam services,then they are doing something wrong and should be reported for action to be taken.
But in the wider perspective,everyone is allowed to advertise on the forum as long as such advertisements are made in the proper section and are legit.
But newbies advertising is a strange one,you can't just come to the forum with the sole purpose of promoting a particular website,its bad to say the least

This obvious scam or an attempt to share malware.
Account creation so scammers, spam bots is really far too easy in this forum.

In database (from theymos), the figures on newly monthly registered accounts fell hard, to almost same figures of the period 2015.

To conclude, the forum has return to its quiet period before terrible spam-busrting in 2017 and 2018.
Of course, we need to wait more months to test the hypothesis.

This spam methods exist on the forum and has for a long time. You can simply report such posts. There is also a way of reporting post history, if a particular account regularly repeats such threads, although this users are multiple accounts and spam across various boards.
In addition to getting their posts deleted, newbie accounts could also be nuked.
