As some of you know already, I am partaking with an upcoming ICO project and it is very important to me and my team to know how to get the best out of it. My question is, what is your general view on ICO's in 2019. This will help us better understand where to bring extra clarity. Thank you!
my new about the current situation of the ICO projects is everything has a trend but the trend is outdated so the usage of ICO projects so it could not be a huge way of money making a way carry something better than today will came it will be the winner now.

This year, it seems that there are too many ICOs that scam and make the ICO name less popular now. I don't know why the big ICO scam happened. Because it's too easy to make an ICO project but the project is fake or scam. It's a pity this year, too many ico scams.

As you can see the current situation of ICO's project are too bad day by day theres a lot of project that introduce in market with a same concept from other well know project, I think this is a main reason why people are not trusting icos project because it too risky to invest in a project, but Im not saying all of icos are scam maybe few of them is legit, but this year Binance launchpad is offering services for ico to get a chance to list in their trading site is this the comeback of ico?

It's good OP is part of the ICO project. The bear market has been long standing and many ICOs could not reach expectations because it demands extra effort by the team during times like this in order to become successful at the end of the day. 2019 has started on a good note with the market showing great resistance against the bear market, hence it is more likely for another bull market to happen this year.
Aside this, one thing the team must know is the availability of a working product which is in high demand. This is one of the key things investors look at before joining an ICO nowadays. Your marketing team must also work hard alongside with bounty hunters in creating more awareness - this is very necessary.

Around 25-40% seems to be scam. Perfect scams were around 20%, but after entering the market with perfect scheduling and good team out of funding some ico's go as a scam. Some has succeeded in the long run. In this way I believe there are more legit ico's with perfect utility and good team to serve the investors. This year we haven't experienced big growth from ico, possibly this will happen soon.

I think 90% is bad, 10% is good. My friend became rich very quickly by investing in ICO in that 10%, I don't know why but ICO is still a good investment for those who fit it.

Ico are picking up compared to what theey were last year. We have seen tremendous roi upon listing some evwn going as high as x3, x4, x5. I believe if your project has real usecase and the right partnership you can achieve this feat as an ico

My opinion about ICO in 2019 would be there are still many fake project popping up to deceive many people. So i think this year is still a bad year for ICO, because we need to filter all the new projects thoroughly.

need careful and careful belief in choosing an ICO project so as not to fall prey to the adverse things, indeed many ICO projects are deceiving but not all of the most important thing is to convince ourselves in choosing an ICO project.

You don't need to worry about this. Currently, ICO projects are gradually being replaced by the IEO and this will definitely make ICO projects better if they don't want to be avoided. I believe that the development of the IEO is a new development for investment and we can trust a good future if this happens over a long period of time.

10% is a good project at the beginning and disappears over time, now ICO is not a good place to invest because there are too many ICO SCAM, they claimed to have raised millions of dollars but actually it was fake, now ICO has switched to STO and IEO which cannot be manipulated by developers

I do not see much point in investments in ICOs. Technically, we pay money for promises, and there is no guarantee that the finished product will be in demand on the market and the project will be able to be realized.

Many bounty hunters have now abandoned this activity not only because of the poor overall cryptocurrency market. but also because of the massive deception of ICO teams, which, in very rare cases, began to pay the promised tokens, which, in turn, cost almost nothing now. It is necessary for the ICO team, as before, to pay their tokens to the wallets indicated by us, and not to their sites and not to choose other inconvenient payment forms for us in the middle or at the end of the ICO .. Also regarding the KYC verification: I consider this KYC verification bounty hunters are illegal, but if it is carried out, the team must immediately show what information and documents it will require and the possibility of passing KYC checks when joining the ICO bounty campaign. The requirement to undergo a KYC check at the end of the ICO, or even after its completion, is more like an ordinary fraud that takes place for months in order not to pay the tokens earned by us.

There may be a shift from ico and also the IEO which is currently being done a lot by exchange. if this happens I think to the public's concern about transparency and also the problem of scam will be a little lost because the ico certainly will not be careless in doing so

After all what happened in 2018 with ICO-BASED projects people are more reticent about investing in ICOs.

However,  good projects will be successful anyway and will be able to reach the hardcap through ICOs in 2019, too.

Alright, so I'm going to the toilet, I left an amazing sized dump in there and now is for sale, even better im selling it into 10 million pieces divisible another bunch themselves would you buy it?
Then why would you spend money in something thats probably gonna do hookers n blow with it in exchange of a bit of reading, hype and promises.

On a more serious thought, I been in 3 icos in 5 years and I don't mind missing any. Serious and real projects arent many.

Yes exchanges that allow icos get a pretty bad view from me, not to mention those listing fees and scamproof 0.

Some of us that invested in icos in 2017 and were able to sell then really make money from it but in 2018 it was a great losses as very few of them really succeed.  I think the samething that happens in 2018, is now repeating itself again and I foresee a great losses to investments in those icos that has no real products.  If any projects has really product it is very easy for us to be able to analyze those projects and rate how it has performed in the past and it present conditions before investing but putting your hard earned money on those projects That is in the mind of anonymous developer is too risky to take.

OP here. I would like to mention that we are going to launch our ICO project very soon and this thread has been very helpful to better understand the general sentiment about the crypto market and ICO projects at the start of 2019. I truly appreciate your input, as it will help us better understand what parts of the ICO need to display the most clarity.

As many of ico's are looking for is a good product and a good project, it should also show the legitimacy of the project so many investors will be fascinated and invest in it. If the project is good and legitimate it's worth the big money and many investors will be able to earn as much as the promoters of those projects.
