I can relate perfectly.
It's been observed that some of this ico team members have no clear cut understanding about the project they brought into the market space, and all they care about is how to get funding from the public and at the end abandon any further development of the projects as stated in their white paper.

Does platforms like Ethereum and EOS make you sick?

if you don't have money to fund your project just don't bother

Why do you think there are fund raising models just like ICOs, STOs, VC's?
You know there are people who have the idea but no funds and there are also people who have funds but have no idea or looking for a new venture.

It really depends on the potential of the project and the management, ICO system gives opportunity to many greedy people to collect huge amount of money even if the project is only a piece of shit and never been developed any actual product even in years of development and later disappeared with bags of money collected from ICO the best example I know is the Exscudo 1-2 years still no exchange listings on top exchanges the potential and idea of this project is really promising but the team is not responsible enough.

If you tell me that 90% of ICOs are scam, I would oppose you. Now, I see the reality. I am disappointed that in crypto are so many people who want to make money quickly and they do not want to make better world.

Well to me if you are the owner of your business or company and you have struggled a lot to build it you won't dare want to let go or see it crumbled and fail,this is not present in ICO cases ,ICO is just like "oh if not much funds then I will back off and reopen another project maybe we can reach the hard cap" ,well if every developers are the ones funding there projects they will be more serious to make it a successful one,the easy safe path of backing out if hardcap is never achieved makes it feel easy for every one especially the scammers, I'm not been heartless ,if you don't have money to fund your project just don't bother ,many coins out there have no ICO ,no premine ,no bullshit with fine price per coin ,they never want any funds ,coins like masari ,Loki,haven project, dero rely on nobody fund yet they perform better than hundreds of ICO.

ICO projects used to be rewarding crypto activities before when the market was still healthy. But right now, with the bullish market, investor seems to shy away from investing to ICO causing the project not to reach their needed funding. I really do hope that this year the situation will change. maybe a major crypto development will happen to attract investors again.

That is the risk of investing in ICO, we will continue to meet with coins which will eventually become a scam. Many scammers make their coins back when they know that the coins they previously made will be destroyed, this is like garbage and unproductive. I agree with you, I also feel the same way. I always hope that the ICO that enters is truly a coin that is carefully considered and always well developed, this will be very good and reduce the scattered coin waste. It's better to use crypto that is old and good  development, this is more convincing and good to use.

Really as it said, there's a lots of people here who thinks that crypto is just a place to make some extra huge cash, choosing and investing with ico's  hoping that it will reach the exchange and finally dumped and grab the profits, with this perceptions many good intended project will die, the idea is
already there but the executions might failed due to lack of supports and true believers.

only a small number of ICOs made success on their projects. most of the other is not having a future, and the bigger one is just making a scam. my experience was participating in several ICOs, more than 10. and only 3 were very good.

There are thousands of ICO projects on the internet but it's very difficult to find out a good ICO project to invest in. Beside, when you could find out good coin/ICO project to invest your money in but it's still very difficult to get a slot to become investors of these projects cause thousands of investors also applied to invest in these projects like you so these ICO projects often finished right at the private sale so crowdsale is no needed that why there are good projects we never hearing about until listing on exchange )

It's really sickening after my last one which is a good one, I have a hard time looking for a good project, some of these are duplicate of an existing project and some of them are going to run for 5 to 8 months it's time for me to shift to something that will pay me weekly however small.

Yep this ico ecosystem is full of scams and failed project. The problem is there is no regulations or case sometimes. Someone want to make some money then open a ico collect whatever you got. And then sometimes disappear or sometimes gives a lame excuse to prove that some how the idea is not working. That's the hole thing is. Then again come with a nice looking project and start to scam people. But that dont ran that there is no good project. There is some good project but the percentage is too low according to all project so you have to find it very carefully.

You are right to some extent about projects and ICOs, but I feel ICOs is still need for some projects because there concept and technology requires money and when the team is not that wealthy enough to fund the project it is better to seek funds from the public and reward demand with good value for their tokens or coin. It is easier for software based project to launch without ico than infrastructure based project. But most projects have abused this by launching fake ICOs or just raising money from the public without delivering a good product.

currently speaking ico in the current conditions many investors are disappointed with the results obtained in following ico but if you already know the risks that will be obtained with the investment ico is a failure as experience

yeah you are right, because 2018 year from at present ico market prices is dumping. so many bitcoin users are falling then loses face. some time they are feeling upset that what can to do in future of crypto. my opinion we are dont have hand ico prices. so when you want to invest so much carefully need to select. because present market condition continue to dumping. but we are hoped that as possible again market prices can rise, and we are get return smile. so invest and wait for long term just for a good day.

I see that there are only a few teams that really want to build their projects even when the market conditions are very bad, they don't give up easily because when their first ICO fails they will extend the duration and if they still don't meet the target they will do it again and I think it is the team like that who really wants to develop their project because if they don't, then they have left while carrying money that is not so much, but it has been very profitable

I think the primary factor make the ICO fail recently was that the low-believing of the investors in the ICO project. i believe you are blurting out this statement due to the rate at which most ICOs are failing these days and because as you said most team members might have not invested much they leave the project to rot. I have suggested that investors should go for projects that have real working product out there and not just any project that is listed on this forum.

Ideally, the community funds will be used for the business, but in terms of business, corporators and the likes should have capital before starting a business, at present they used ICO as a milking cow for starting a business or a token. I dont like the idea, but its their decision to use this kind of strategy, and whether the reached the soft cap or hardcap, its still their best decision on how they would run their business.
