It has negative effects atleast , but even though it turns that way, you can notice that it will be more popular that way.  Its not the way we want it to be advertised but its better because its spreading like virus. People would always have different opinions about bitcoin  but the real deal is that bitcoin is here to stay.

Bitcoin had been announced dead so many times for the last 10 years but it's only show more and more strength at staying afloat. Negative talkers some times are a necessary evil. They do the advertising indirectly

Lol... You don't blame those who panic in the price reduction of Bitcoin. Many of them bought the coin hoping that "Hey,  it will skyrocket just like the way it did on December 2017" lol . Many where truly disappointed last year.
This currency is not something you just rush to and buy off without monitoring what the market was like. 
And moreover, it's always true that bad things or negative news spread quickly than the good ones.

Negative or positive news its part of advertising and it makes the popularity rising, but popularity because of negative news is not a good thing, many people got a wrong impression about bitcoin because of the negative news, and because of this negative news it can make the investors to hesitate to invest, negative popularity will make bitcoin stumble and hard to grow better

This is the same thing as people would talk about a "bad" movie or a "bad" musical video. They keep spreading the word about how bad it is and bring arguments about why you should never listen/see it but at the end they are just promoting it for free and I'm sure the creator does not mind that.
There are always going to be negative people everywhere and I kind of understand them. Every one of us has a different point of view about different things and it's normal that not everyone agrees with bitcoin. Personally I don't think bitcoin is for everyone because it's a long term investment and you could do more harm to it if you just buy it then sell it as a bargain.

Yep, the quote "any publicity is good publicity" is obviously at play here.

Taken from Murad Mahmudov[1], I heavily believe that the public perception of bitcoin, "bitcoin is dead", will slowly change as time goes. People are going to think "bitcoin is dead" like every year until they actually realize like "hey, this bitcoin thing is still here!".

I somewhat understand what you mean. Imagine if you have an ordinary person who suddenly rose to fame because of something he/she did, like a viral video. We all know a video or two that concerns that.. Anyways, then people start to talk about him/her, and we all know that it is inevitable that there won't be any bad mouthing. I think that's one of the reasons why people are talking about it. They like gossip, talking about negative things, and it spreads. I think this is another way to think about it.

Agreed, this is the way through which we see more users getting into the cryptocurrency. Till date very few success stories can be seen without any kind of promotion. One amongst is our bitcoin, which has spread big through word of mouth. As it is high risk asset, even if we promote through different sources we'll have the same number of users at present.

People will be talking about BTC even if it has a bad value right now, it's the most popular in crypto market so that means people know's it.
The price that we are seeing will eventually change, bitcoin is bound for success and just watching the price all the time will not give you what you need to know, just look on the development, there will be more interesting update you will find inside.

Well, while they did promote bitcoin, I think they also take parts in branding Bitcoin as simply an investment (and most people now think like this). They don't care about economic freedom, sound money and why Bitcoin can be a good alternative from fiat because in the end they want to get rich quickly. It will take a while to educate them, probably months or years depending on how good we educate them, but for sure it will be difficult.

I don't think there are a few success stories, there are a lot but the negative overcomes it. We cannot be sure to what extent it could extend, whether it would interest people or make easy judgments without knowing the prior stuff that is needed. It may have been spread easily due to its enormous amount price volatility which in a way makes risky people enter it.

I still don't get it why some people take the "Holy" Bitcoin in a negative way!
It is one of the greatest creation that should be respected equally.
Moreover as people hating Bitcoins, I also heard that some Government of countries are banning it too.

It isnt true really necessary for bitcoin price to be high. Because it isnt made for that purpose crypto has its own benefits and value will be just next to it. The higher adoption the higher the price.

I believe everyday more and more ppl are becoming aware of its existence. Yes, all of the bitcoin/cryptocoin talks I've seen in a non-cryptocurrency focused communities these past few months are mostly negative but so far I don't remember anyone who've asked "what is that" and the number of ppl joining the discussion are not only 2 or 3 ppl.

Tho I feel like ppl will only check it out if someone bothered to explain the good parts, I mean if all ppl are throwing pessimism all over the place, chances are it will tick ppl off, yes someone could google search but in this case, there's a low possibility of it.

That's the truth, it's hard to get educated if you will not put an effort to it.
Your interest will drive you to get your self educated in crypto, most of us are just self taught about crypto and it's easy for us because we love what we
are doing. Honestly, crypto has become a passion to me already, before and after I sleep, I think of it, I even think of a while that I love it more than my wife.

Just imagine that bitcoin survived it's first 10 years despite the attacks, specially in the beginning of its career. And now we are entering another 10 years and still there are people or entity who continue to bad mouth it, but the more they tried, the more people get curious about bitcoin and chances are the more people are going to enter the market in the next decade.
