Suggestion regarding Bitcoin Wiki

Wouldn't it be okay if we had an organized a sticky on the bitcoin wiki board with a few guidelines and details about what one should do in case they want to contribute something?
 Like,
- What is required. Is it free to edit a wiki page or payment is required?
- Type of content needed?
- Privileges etc

I have seen some many people post in there, and they all seem as clueless as me, as am a first timer there.
