This doesn't seems to be an assured starting point for a new bull run. From my understanding about the market it is a resistance break from a long time stabilized value around $3500-$3600. At present the growth shows the urge to cross the $4000 mark. Everyone feels the benefits, when the price of Bitcoin and Altcoin increases, for anyone who has Bitcoin and Altcoin they will feel the benefits. the increase in price varies and that is already quite good when we compare it to the bearish market that has been going on for almost months now. It seem the bull has come back and bitcoin is heading toward $4250. We are waiting for a break of $3980 for us to see another patterns in the candlesticks formation and that may signal the bull run.  I am happy that I got bitcoin  at a very cheap price and I think bitcoin is going to give me great profits this time around.  Most of  the altcoins are also following bitcoin in this great upwards movement and ethereum has gained over 12% yesterday alone.  Hope this continues and not whales manipulations.

Cryptocurrency prices were falling so long that a correction had to come. I do not know if this is the beginning of the bull run, but let's hope that these increases will last as long as possible.

What is different this time compared to the last is that the Bitmex futures actually have a premium instead of a discount.

Basically since November 2018 they all had a massive discount. The discount was up to 3-4% at one point. So if BTC was $3300 the futures were $3200.

Oh cut it. People tend to always presume things with little market movements. Yeah it's a 400 usd rise in a day but to assume it'll start a bull run this early means you still have to learn a lot about this market. This isn't the first time we've had a few hundred dollars up in this bear market.

It's definitely way to early, but the bullish signals are pretty healthy because it's backed by volume. In the end, it all comes down to how realistic people are (mostly not realistic at all, lol). The market being bullish in the short term doesn't mean the bear market is over, far from it actually. In order to get that confirmation, or an indication, we need to break through previous lower highs.

Ultimately, the ~$5800 level that offered support for such a long period of time last year will be quite an important level to focus on. It will be extremely hard to break through, but that for me would be an indication that the bear market ended.

Prices of everything in the world (stocks, gold, forex) always goes down and up all the time, that is how investors make money, they find the one that will make you money on the long run and not just today, day traders work for themselves usually, people who are brokers usually go for longer term. This increase will not be going to the moon and will not change anything in the long run, its just a good day for day traders but that is about it. The $3980 might be difficult to break at this time because of the strong resistance around that figure. Although it might take time for that level to be breaking as you van see, the candle stick formation around that vecinity is not that strong and it may take the whole is this week for the upward trend to start seriously. If a positive move like this continues until the end of the year, it seems that at the end of the year bitcoin may already be on the moon. People are really jumping the gun getting bullish on altcoins. That's another strong sign there is more pain to come. We're just coming off a brutal 50% crash, and people think altcoins can enter a bull market? LOL, maybe in a year.

Talking about realizing the true meaning of crypto currency, do you mean till everyone widely understand what crypto it or until people genially, both existing investors and future investor understands why crypto currency was invented, sometimes when we wish for this bull run of a thing.

We tend to look at it in the aspect on investment alone forgetting the main purpose of crypto to our financial institution and until people full know what it stands for and start using it rather than holding it, we might not get the BULL we have been waiting for, we need to start using our crypto as means of payment, many ecommerce sites also needs to start accepting crypto as means of payment, payment of salaries etc. These are the things that will bring about its price increase.

This points and reason you gave I believe is exactly the reasons why lots of Altcoins are being birthed too, a lot of them sees the crypto currency world only in the perspective of making money, they come up with lots of project whether it fails or not for as long as they can raise money through investors and keep given them hope that will never come till they forget about the investment.

I agree and it is unfortunate, many developers are taking advantage of the market and instead of seeing an opportunity to test their skills or to create something new they are seeing this market as a way to get rich very quickly and while I do not approve their actions it is easy to see why they do it, some investors throw their money at any project as long as they have a decent looking website and a white paper filled with technical terms they do not understand, and as long as that continues we will keep seeing a huge amount of useless projects.

Right now, Binance is even beginning to perform well and to experience high growth without depend on other coins. This is what Binance needs more, entrepreneurs to invest in Binance and not depend on any other coin, same way Bitcoin depends on its own technology and not a coin for the growth we have seen in it so far.

This is why Bitcoin is doing fine in the market, so Binance also need to grow in their own technology which they have been putting up lots of effort too recently by introducing new systems that is yet to be introduced by other similar projects.
