As of now, it is down today.

It is not so easy to tell you whether it is a real bull run or trap so I feel it is too early to get exciting for the price rise. It may slowly move up but expect it to run fast.

Actually, I haven't visited CMC for a while so I have no idea that the price go up like this . The graph not only of bitcoin but as well as major alts such as eth and xrp looks great. However, it's too early to conclude that the bull is approaching.. I guess let's wait further for the meantime, if this trend continue for the upcoming months then no doubt that the bearish days is now over.

This doesn't seems to be an assured starting point for a new bull run. From my understanding about the market it is a resistance break from a long time stabilized value around $3500-$3600. At present the growth shows the urge to cross the $4000 mark. Possibly this makes an disturbance in the market, as people have begun to get positive thoughts on growth in short term and speculations targeting the upcoming month starting has begun.

Everyone feels the benefits, when the price of Bitcoin and Altcoin increases, for anyone who has Bitcoin and Altcoin they will feel the benefits. the increase in price varies and that is already quite good when we compare it to the bearish market that has been going on for almost months now. This is a positive move, let's make prices stable and later on we can get a much better condition and situation. It is not impossible that the crypto price can peak as it did in 2017. Nothing is impossible in the crypto world, everything is possible and sometimes a dream can come true.

it is just bitcoin doing its own thing recovering from a reverse bubble and going back up to normal non-manipulated prices although we still have a long way to go before reaching those levels. and because of that price rise, altcoins seem to be rising too although they are not really since their values against bitcoin is either the same or lower as people dump them to go back to bitcoin market.

The result of this ongoing rise will determined if the industry will now pumped to the moon, still small amount of increase that we are enjoying for a little
while, if this will be maintained and more investors to show up more good things will happen to this market, value can go higher than we expected.

It seem the bull has come back and bitcoin is heading toward $4250. We are waiting for a break of $3980 for us to see another patterns in the candlesticks formation and that may signal the bull run.  I am happy that I got bitcoin  at a very cheap price and I think bitcoin is going to give me great profits this time around.  Most of  the altcoins are also following bitcoin in this great upwards movement and ethereum has gained over 12% yesterday alone.  Hope this continues and not whales manipulations.

Cryptocurrency prices were falling so long that a correction had to come. I do not know if this is the beginning of the bull run, but let's hope that these increases will last as long as possible.

What is different this time compared to the last is that the Bitmex futures actually have a premium instead of a discount.

Basically since November 2018 they all had a massive discount. The discount was up to 3-4% at one point. So if BTC was $3300 the futures were $3200.

Now the discount is gone and there is a small premium, haven't seen this in a while and if you look at sentiment index it's also as high as May 2018.

A nice rally, maybe a 50-60% move from the bottom? Sure that's possible. I'd love to sell a wick above $5K.

A bull run like 2017? Of course not. There's way too much resistance, too many bagholders. It took the better part of a year for the market to turn bullish in 2015 after bottoming in January. That should give some indication of how long it takes to recover from a brutal bear market. Bottoming out is a long term process.

Anyone noticed how often the crypto market follow the stock market? Both reacted identically, again. For the SM It was caused by news about the Federal Reserve, I don't remember exactly what it was about but it's all over the news.
It's 10 days now since the uptrend started, I hope it was not just for Valentine's day, we would need at least 3 consecutive months to grab again the attention from media. and to title "BTC to the Moon Again!"

Increase in volume wants to show something. Nobody can know that where it will go and how long this will continue. But if we continue with this volume and increase, we can be witness that prices are going to bloom.

I don't think that it is very mature to rush at this time.

We still need more signs in order to be sure that the bull run has started. Some good news that has a positive impact in the market prices doesn't mean that this will bring the start of the bull run. I think that we should be careful and wait for the whole Q1 to see what is going on with the bitcoin price and the market capitalization in general.

As long as Ethereum keeps pumping, and there is enough time till the actual fork, I'm pretty certain that the sentiment will be bullish. I however see traders cash out profits a day or so before the fork, or right after the fork just for the sake of potentially getting free money in case of a split.

In the end, it does feel good seeing some green because that's what triggers people to buy. The volumes are solid, especially when it comes to CME. 60,000BTC traded in 24H. CME's volumes are double the the volumes of Bitstamp and Coinbase Pro combined.
