What approach/methods will you use during the next BTC Bull Run?

I am wondering what I will do during the next bull run.

Here is one idea:

Buy $XXX amount of Bitcoin every increase of $1,000 and HODL until a certain limit.

Or

Buy $XXX amount of Bitcoin every increase of $1,000 and then Sell for profit.

There's a risk in your first method that the bull run might expire without you exiting. Hence, you'll be like those that got stuck during the 2018 decline. Proper planning for an exit plan and being at peace with your profit i think is the best bet. It's better to be able to sell during a bull run than letting greed take over. Bull runs happen every now and then anyways so there should always be another chance.

I agree with this. I do not want my account to be marooned out in the middle of no wheres land.... like last time.
So if I did do something like my version 2 (above) what would be more details about how to execute the method??

On every bull run I prefer holding the bitcoin, because the market keeps growing if it is a true bull run. To make an earning out of the bitcoin's bull run it is also good to buy when the bull run gets ignited. It is very hard to predict that particular buy point of bitcoin, so it is always good to invest a small amount regularly. It'll get a big return on the bull market.

The Bull run period does not last for long as compare to bear market. In 2017, the bitcoin went up from 13000$ to 19800$ in just one week only. It was a pure manipulation and whales pumped bitcoin to ATH. I think the best think is to collect the coins in cheap in bear market and hold them. If we sell those coins later in bull market, we can gain a lot of profits.

If me i will do like i do in past. Sell bitcoin to price that i think high enough and wouldn't regret with my decision. Actually in past i really regret because i miss peak price, but i see other people buy in peak price i think i still lucky than them.

I will try to short the market the moment I start to feel that we're due for a massive correction and the charts mirror my bearish sentiment. See it as a form of insurance--the lower the price goes, the more Bitcoin I accumulate.

Looking at how the price kept tanking didn't bother me too much, but looking at things now from an investor's perspective, I could have used this bear market to stack up more Bitcoin, but decided to keep hodling through it.

I'm not a trader so I'll refrain from doing that, but one single short open is better than doing nothing.

Currently  i only choose and buy coin that has more potential to going up to 100% , and after that i will buy others coin that  still in the bottom.  I have idea to use compound strategy so i can make alot of profit if bull market  coming. The slow market is getting longer and I dont think it will rise up soon. Better to just let it be in your wallet and create another investment for you to trade.

Why speculate to buy in future when there is a certain percentage increase. I do not see any sense in such plan. Why not buy now if you have the money to invest so that it grows astronomically when the expected bull begins. Waiting to buy at expensive price is not business like. Just my idea and view though.

because just investing is not that much profitable. when people come to crypto they all look forward to huge income, popularity, black jack and etc. but when it comes to reality it all wrecks at bearish market.

Buying smaller coins is a good approach as well as buying bitcoin is. I mean on a bull run buying bitcoin is not a bad investment (well to be fair buying bitcoin now to be ready for an upcoming bull, buying while on bull may create some risks) however buying altcoins that give better potential is much better. So there is really no loss in a bull run, you can hold any coin you want and you can still profit from it.

Moreover, do not forget that bitcoin has about 6-7x in order to be what it used to be where as ethereum as x10 go back where it used to be and nano has x34, and there are many coins like eth and nano that is way beyond bitcoins max. Hence, buying altcoins that show potential is a much smarter idea right now and that is why I am buying smaller coins to be ready for an upcoming bull but I still keep a bit of bitcoin aside.

How do you set a target profit??  A certain percentage?  Love the idea but

I did that with the last bull run and road the price down to the ground. It lost LOTS of value!!!!

That is actually the best time to sell. I would prefer to buy during this kind of market situation and sell it when the bull run comes. That's the right time to collect good profit from our investments and we should be mindful of it.

First bull run my happen at any moment. Therefore, we should always be prepare and alert at all times mate.
That's why many are bullish at the moment, for them to minimize their loses and risk also, including myself too.
So if you are holding some coins try to do day trade of the 30% of your holdings then the remaining will be hold
in a long term, while waiting.

I believe that speculating the future is not easy. And for example if you do speculate well and think that the price of bitcoin is going to go up or something, you should invest at the spot. This is what people do. They invest in Bitcoin by speculating and make plethora of profits. I will cash a portion of my coins in the Bull Run and will hold the rest for future profits.

For the investors who invest now and expect returns after years, this must be a right time to go ahead regardless of what you mention about "not promising". long term investors do have to be like that no matter the decline, the forgotten method by most of the new investors in crypto and the situation of the market soaring in no way affects you. throw away during an explosion or keep hide assets for a good future by investing in crypto
