My electrum wallet is 'NOT CONNECTED' even i have internet connection

My electrum wallet is NOT CONNECTION even i have fast internet connection ( http://prntscr.com/mng7k4 ). i can browse online, youtube and facebook etc. etc.. but seems electrum has error. It says 'Not connected'.

 - how to fix?

This is a classic connection problem. How long have you waited for it to connect?
Aside from what has been mentioned by ETFbitcoin, you can try to:
1. Use VPN.
2. Use an alternative internet connection.

SuperInvestor, your fast internet connection has nothing to do with the fact that Electrum is not connecting to server, but it is probably because of the reason that server you are trying to connect is down.

In case you do not know how to change server, follow these simple instructions :

• Click on red dot(bottom right).
• In Network select Server tab.
• Uncheck option Select server automatically.
• Pic any server from list (right click) use as server.
• Close window and wait for sync.

If you for some reason deleted previous version of Electrum included data from Electrum folder, then it will need to download blockchain_headers file which is some 40+ MB in size, but since you have fast internet this should not be a problem.
