I have never used it but that issue really looks like scam attempt. I suppose founders have abandoned this project, because there was such a loud and not unreasonable accusation.

I have not to use the bounties platform before, I not want to import my wallet private key in this web site, even it legit or not, I afraid my wallet will be hack after joining their bounties, and why I need to pay the transaction for my working reward.

I have never participated in bounties at that site. There are too few new campaigns there and it limits participants. Recently bounty has collapsed and so bounty sites will also collapse under it

in fact i do not see new ico / bounty on their site, perhaps is the end of the site,i do the old-fashioned way i choose bounty on icobench is easy and have a large list of new ico

I think you are right, I would not trust such a site, even if they try to explain why it happened. No one but you should know the secret key.

I have participated in a few bounties from bountyhunters.io and only a fraction of them turn out well in my opinion.
I think bounty platforms need to do better, as regards how they scrutinize the projects they allow on their platform, the way their contracts are negotiated and the measures they take to protect bounty hunters from getting scammed

There is no good project at bountyhunter.io currently but you can look at Bountyhive, Bounty0x. Am not sure about bountyplatform and bountysuits, there is no project on bountyplatform currently and bountysuits have lots of shit bounties

There are other platforms.
Projects need huge marketing and I don't think they want to use platform whose members need to give private keys and has scam accusation against, it is easier to pay bounty manager from forum to do a job without too much problems.

this has been like an end of an era ever since the 2018 began and the ICO tokens all and all that came with them started to die slowly and get out of this market.

but don't worry too much about it because soon a new stupid idea to scam people will appear and you can continue joining them to make some small amounts of money on the side while they take the big moneyz

I have not joined bountyhunters.io ever. Why don't you join other bounty websites? such as bountyhive, bountyplatform, ..
For me, I usually do bounty on bountyhive because of the projects on which the success rate is very high!

Why don't you try out other bounty managers like bounty0x or bountyhive? The reason why bountyhunter is empty for now you can't blame them ,you have to wait till one is available on there and its so wrong to depend on one bounty manager while there are many available ,or just go to bounty thread on this forum

As other's have pointed out, there are a lot of bounty portals out there. Yes those accusations may have something to do with projects not wanted to hire them but this is a cut throat business, so they need to re invent themselves and continue.

As I have said, they can still go on with this business and be careful next time so obviously, its not the end for them.

For me, I usually do bounty on bountyhive because of the projects on which the success rate is very high!

All platforms are the same and I don't see which platforms have many successful projects like in bitcointalk. So I have never participated in any campaign on these platforms. In bitcointalk, we have a lot of new campaigns and lots of choices for us

The sites come and go, it's just ok. There are a lot other good bounty portals besides bountyhunters.io. So do not be upset, just search for a worthy alternative. As for the bountyhunters.io personally I think that this is the end...It will be very hard to rehabilitate after such an issue.

We really face many obstacles in bounty just if recent due to bear market in crypto market and so many scam ICO who don't want to use bountyhuntwrs.io any more as their project are legit site and any ICO being promoted by them are mostly great coin and due to recent challenge facing by ICO , blunter hunter has also surfer a lot from different scam project which no one could sue them , and this give many ICO hedge with the clause in their bounty thread host by some personal people with little reward always state that " they have right to change the reward for bounty anytime " and that alone makes them hedge on bounty hunter.

It might have ended on their forum, but it does not mark to end on bounty generally. There are still some other forums that are very active and are into bounty with regular payments. I am actively involved in bountyhive platform bounty and it has been a wonderful experience with them.
You might need to look into other places.

In that forum, I saw very few bounty succeeded. so bounty hunters are no longer interested in this site and of course no new bounty will be created there. But in bitcointalk, every day we will see about 3-5 newly created bounty. Bounty is still very active here and some other forums

Going through the bounties board. This will give you more access to lots of projects that are running currently. Here you need to be clear on selecting the project analyzing better about the market and the project. Project value needs to be considered before participation.
