Basic Attention Token (BAT) & Brave Browser

Throughout 2018 I liquidated most of my ALT holdings into BTC, present portfolio mix sits around 90% BTC, 10% ALT.  Recently started researching options to increase my ALT exposure by another 15-20% and after a few days i found myself depressed that despite the fact ALT investment options continue to proliferate on a daily basis, now numbering  into the thousands, I did not find a single ALT that had enough meat on the bone where I felt comfortable reducing my BTC position to take position in an ALT. Not one ALT I researched where perceived risk/reward was such I could say in honesty reducing BTC investment by any percentage for (insert name here) ALT made sound financial sense. Fact, having been in ALTs since 2014, most of what I see now in 2019 (same as 2014) has me thinking putting my money into a pile and burning it would be the better investment, at least then I wouldn't need to suffer over an extended period of time waiting for inevitable (insert name here) ALT implosion, collapse & death spiral to 0.

But yesterday happens and through discovering and installing Brave browser I come across BAT (Basic Attention Token). BAT checks all the boxes for me and if they continue to execute with high success on their business model potential positive returns in BAT seem exponential comparing against the other ALTS I've considered. I look at BAT & see through its integration with Brave the potential one day to stand toe to toe with a Google, Facebook, Youtube, et al. and not just stand, but win. I'm thinking I've found my next new ALT.  But I have a problem in the duration & depth of my knowledge regarding BAT is super thin, I've known of but nothing about BAT or Brave until taking a deep dive into all things BAT these past 24 hrs., so pls if you got dirt on BAT help me out, gimme the goods, tell me what I missed, why it's pure guano, give good reasons I should let BAT fall off my investment radar. Not looking for opinions on other ALTs to invest, only opinions on why it should not be BAT.

Honestly the way BAT is conducting their coin I am impressed. I actually have around 20% of my hodlings in BAT right now! Considering it's one of the few coins that coinbase will allow on their platform, and the fact that it has been 7X of it's current value means a lot. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/basic-attention-token/ I will hodl BAT for years to come, I will love when it is worth $1+ hopefully one day reaching $10+ for being a high quality crypto!

Brave for mobile is the best phone browser on the market, for desktop it needs some polishing. They are amazing products, but judigng by the token economics I don't think there's much room for growth.

Could you link me to the airdrop? Do you know if it is still active? Thanks! BAT trading is offered on Poloniex as well and they have a high volume of trading daily for BAT / BTC , BAT / USDT , and BAT / ETH . These are all good signs!

Don't know much about BAT and am not even sure how i can earn it but i have been using brave browser for a while now. Its really cool and i love it's privacy and anti tracking features not forgetting the default search engine Duckduckgo  
The availability of Tor browsing feature in it is a total win for me.

I know about BAT since the first day they launched their ICO and I remember how successful their ICO was, I never used the brave browser I just invested a little in it buying from exchanges, not in ICO phase, the team behind the project is really good it is for sure not a bad investment.

Don't know much about BAT and am not even sure how i can earn it but i have been using brave browser for a while now.

I think you can earn BAT while using the browser however you are not allowed to withdraw it you just allowed to tip with it, I am not 100% sure since I never used the brave browser before.

I'm also using Brave right now and I see this as one of the most promising projects that can cater millions of internet users, those who are involved in cryptocurrency should use this in support of Cryptocurrency based project.

I agree with guys like Fluffypony who thinks it is a scam. The browser might be a good product but I don't see a purpose for the token. The ICO was just a cash grab. You don't need to print your own money to protect users privacy. It also seems like cashing out your tokens from your Brave wallet is a bit of a hassle according to this reviewer. They still have a lot of things to smooth out with their platform. KYC requirements for Brave Rewards and low payouts to websites where Brave ads are running isn't going to attract many people.

Tried to use Brave about year ago.. IMHO browser was not ready. Just installed a new version, will check it, looks much better now..

Can anyone verify that they are going implement a get paid to surf or search features, the one I've used is not paying members, that is the Presearch scam, they have a good reputation than Presearch I hope they can implement this feature soon.

I own some BAT for 1.5 years, I like how they develop constantly, too bad they are on Ethereum, this will cause problems in the long run.
