It's always a mystery how much Satoshi's Bitcoin is worth? Many believe Satoshi owns 1 million bitcoin and many he/she lost access to his/her the address where he/she has BTC. It's a guess and might or might not be true that he/she owns 1 million bitcoin. As on the internet, most sources say he/she owns 1 million bitcoin, I have calculated assuming 1 million. This calculation includes some of the forks. I will appreciate if you direct me some more forks worth calculating.

List of the forked coin with price as of now-

  • BCH=$132.43
  • BTG=$12.48
  • BCD=$0.735167*10.0
  • SBTC=$1.42
  • BCA=$0.142317
  • BTX=$0.269/2.0
  • GOD=$2.42
  • BTCP=$1.16
  • BSV=$61.46
  • BZX=0.013264
  • MBC=$0.00013*10000.0
  • BTCL=$0.00333
  • BCI=$0.17
  • BIFI=$0.002*1000

As of Now, Net Asset of Satoshi Nakamoto- $4059024640
He/she is now 550th richest people in the world.
At ATH, Satoshi's bitcoin was worth- $19534999552, no fork included.

I will try updating the amount daily or at least once a week.

just to be clear, since you repeated "sources" a lot, i have to say it is not "most sources" it is only one guy or basically one topic on bitcointalk that did some estimation a couple of years ago based on mining behavior and some Satoshi comments, etc and the conclusion was that it is somewhere close to 1 million (i don't remember how much it was like 700k or something like that) then all these news sites kept copying the same thing add some nonsense and publish it as their own.

I will try updating the amount daily or at least once a week.

you will end up having a nightmare because of the volatility specially with altcoins if you update every week Cheesy
try once per month at least.

Thank you for pointing that out. I had created a thread regarding this and came to learn that it's an assumption but no one shared what you did. Much appreciated.

It's not much of work. I think I can do it very often. In fact, I am trying to display it through a website.

Good luck for that, I will be more amazed if you reach 2-5 months and still updating his worth either weekly and worst if daily.

Also, don't forget your sources.

Read the 2nd reply of this thread. I assumed it 1 million as I got some sources are directing the same amount, I mentioned I got the information from the internet.

(I don't remember how much it was like 700k or something like that)
I think you refer to this topic ----> Satoshi's Fortune lower bound is 100M USD(DEBATE GOING ON, DO NOT TWEET!).
Again, as long as we do not know who is Satoshi?, all the data is based on the amount of Bitcoin that was mined in the name of Satoshi, but he may has more than one name and more than one account.

This is only an assumption that you make based on the total supply of Bitcoin. No one knows precisely how much Satoshi Nakamoto owns Bitcoin, and Satoshi Nakamoto holds other Hard fork or not. I realize this is one of the missing information because no one knows precisely this.

No one really know the real new worth of Satoshi Nakamoto and thats because no one knows who he is. It could be $100k or 1 billion dollars. So you can only guess what his bitcoin is worth but thats not going to help you with anything since everyone has a different opinion but no one comes with proofs for what they say.

Can you provide a basis where you get her/his asset?
Because i personally believe that we dont have any access to that information.

Their is no clear information that particular any address belongs to Satoshi and also it is quite possible that their could be hundreds of address existing of the Satoshi and various other coins could be hold by him and nobody would ever know about i.t

Where did you find that data/information to prove that is really from Satoshi Nakamoto, no one knows where he is.

You've said Satoshi is a mystery but I don't think so if you believed that amount is from him.

If we are to go with the 1million bitcoin in his wallet, has he or she not sold any portion when there was ATH or when he was broke Roll Eyes. Yes, he might have sold some when he/was damn broke since nobody can really give confirm evidence how much Btc satoshi has.

If you make such topic, you have upload sources where did you got information about Satoshi Bitcoin address and how you can know that's really address of Satoshi.
And who cares about all these shitforks and how much it is worth. Only Bitcoin is important, especially when we talk about Satoshi. But I don't see point of updating these stats so often as you're planning. Do you really think that people may be interested in it?
And please, never write big numbers in such style - $4059024640, it's difficult to read.
You supposed to write in such way - $4 059 024 640.

This can be possible but not accurate, its hard to know the holdings of Satoshi Nakamoto’s, actually its hard to know everyone’s worth of bitcoin here because this is a decentralized market and invetors wants to remain anonymous so i think this one is just a speculation.

The best aggregate one can get is to check the addresses that received bitcoins and remain unspent on the first year of the coin's existence, knowing that there are only a few people who are mining back then. One in particular being Hal Finney who has also been interacting with satoshi on this very forum. It would also be interesting to know how much would his total assets would be including all forks that have happened over the past 10 years, and also including cryptocurrencies that are somewhat linked to bitcoins such as CLAMS and the likes.

Okay, I don't get it why the hard forks are link to Nakamoto total net worth, thus the hell we care of it.
From all of these assumptions, nothing is certain unless all those addresses are confirmed that it's Nakamoto's.

Exactly, Hal Finney is believe the one that also mined bitcoin next to Satoshi though he can't confirmed this since he's already dead.

Well he can claim coins equivalent of his Bitcoin holdings for every single hard fork, so they do affect his net worth. But yeah I could see how some people might find this interesting, but it's a pointless exercise. Whatever the case is, I simply hope Satoshi was/is able to enjoy the fruits of his hard work.

Exactly, just like what other posters have said, due to crypto's volatility it's hard to make a estimate as to how much he is worth. There are even debates around regarding how much bitcoin he actually holds to this is exercise is futile, the OP might have nothing to do and has a lot of free time, but for me it's pointless. Let the man rest.

He/she is now 550th richest people in the world.
I remember last 2017, he was at the top 50 of the richest people in the world and that only includes for his total bitcoin holdings.

As they said, please provide source.

Wow. Supposedly Satoshi owns 1 million bitcoin, and with the forks he still is very rich despite the market crash. He's obviously a billionaire, but I doubt he's interested in money or fame, or else he'd have come out by now. Also, given the transparency of the blockchain, he's at risk of being tracked if he moves any of his funds.
