On the off chance that you endeavor to pick up a high benefit in a brief timeframe, you are available to be defrauded. It's not possible for anyone to truly offer such a high benefit, particularly these occasions that we are encountering bear showcase. You are a fortunate man for not losing you are sparing. Be cautious and begin to think carefully.

yeah, it no news that telegram is filled with scammers.
One of the most common one is someone creates a group and names it to some popular exchange or coin name then they add dozens of their own fake account their then say stuff like "thanks for the 14BTC!! omg i cant believe i got it" to try and fool you to deposit to them.

these types of attacks are not new! they have existed for as long as the internet existed. the basics of all of them depends on lack of knowledge of the people they target since it relies on them clicking on something, downloading something malicious,... and also sometimes willingly handing over their secret information, bank accounts, social security number, and bitcoin private keys,...

There is a FOMO brewing...

Scammers are every where across the world they want to cheat that's is their main motto nothing more than that, as technology improves they find new techniques to cheat has became a common thing, Even I have came across lot of scammed projects in telegram. sometimes they ask you to provide your BTC account number and some private keys as well, we need to be very careful and safeguard our-self.

Wherever you want to choose a community group always scam are there, even social media they also have. All community group that related crypto is not exempted for them. So, it's our responsibility to be vigilant to them, if you smell something fishy to them then, report spam and block users, that was I usually do.

The scammers are more active in telegram group that have been abandon by the group admin as a result of fail project or the admin contract with the project have ended. Admins of active projects should be sensitive enough to detect and delete scammers.

Online social platforms are always one of many scammers and they always take advantage of this to find opportunities to cheat investors. I advise all of you not to reply to the messages you receive on telegram because you are probably chatting with a scammer.

Scammers are everywhere and Telegram is the scammers playground. You can find every type of scammer in telegram  Grin
It's sometimes fun to use telegram just because you get the chance to mess with scammers. LOL, I really find it amusing to mess with scammers and get them to the point where they give up trying to scam you.
Don't do this if you are not sure if the person is a scammer or not. I am getting pro at this which is why I can find it out quickly if the other person is trying to scam you or not.

There are scammers everywhere you should be the one to avoid them.
In telegram, you dont need to reply on the PM they sent to you especially if they are claiming admin of one group.
Admin will never PM u first as the number one rule in telegram. If you will click the given link then it is your fault then.

Absolutely right. Using telegram should always be wary of scammers and do not get caught up in their game. It is better to give up "unique opportunity" for earnings than to regret lost money or hacked account.

It is not new. Telegram has been the den of scammer for long time. but in as much as you are not gullible, you will never get scam. Many ICO groups are full of scammers. Some will even pretend to be Admin to the group by bearing the same name and profile picture as the original admin just to scam people. clicking on links that is pm to you is very dangerous. especially by the people you do not know. most of time, when I receive such message, I will delete it and mark the sender as spammers. That is the only way to prevent from being scammed

You find those scammers in most social media telegram inclusive their main targets are newbies and unsuspecting members they think they can easily get some vital information from especially private keys, the bottom line is to avoid giving out any relevantl information and desist from joining any suspicious telegram group.

That is some nasty foolish thing to do.  Grin
A private key? Really?  Grin
But I do think they might really victim some newbies with this method. And maybe some idiots too.  Grin

It is an old song in telegram. It happens mostly in those groups which have a lot of members. They will really mess up the group pasting links that aint supposed to be there.
Thanks for sharing though.

I have seen some new frauds recently on the telegram. They chose telegram as the medium for scamming. They stay in some active groups and find the target. They also once targeted me. They gave me the various link by personal message. And after clicking on the link the link told me to create an account. And if I want to do create an account they will want the wallet's private key. So I think they are a Very terrible scammer. We should be safe from them. Otherwise, we will lose all our cryptocurrency. They send me so many messages that I stopped using telegram for them. Besides, there are many scam bots in the telegram. Those bots never give payment. So I think it's not safe to earn in the telegram. It is best to use it as a communication medium.

Scammers have been plaguing Telegram from day 1. Most popular scam was posting their own ETH addresses at the second that an ICO starts. And they always got people's ethereums, too.
It shouldn't be too hard not to give away your private key or send money to strangers, but it happens every day.

The problem is not only in telegram, scam is everywhere even here on bitcointalk. The only thing that helps us is that Bitcointalk is moderated and scammers can be identified and tagged before they can do more damage. You have to be very vigilant when it comes to your own money and private keys.

Scammers works on every side of cryptomarket, so if you are just working without due diligence you will fall on the trap. Protecting our keys must be the first priority because that’s where our money is placed. Scammers can also get your precious information through the links, so don’t trust any links.

Scammers has been on telegram for years and scammers are on all platforms not just telegram they just use telegram more because telegram doesn't reveal any personal details, it only shows your display name and username which can be changed in an instant countless number of times making them look anonymous.
