Sucks that he sold his holdings way before it even got to the ath. I don't exactly see him being pro bitcoin

He did not intend to hold his bitcoin like a pro because steve himself is alread a multi billionaire because apple products are too indemand despite their expensive cost but steve is better than some influencial and powerful person out there because atleast he try to buy and hodl a bitcoin  .  others are only plain hater   , they instantly dislike bitcoin without even trying it  .

The Woz loves technology, that's why he purchased bitcoin back then to experiment and now he has a lot of positive things to say about it.

Oh well, Steve was not after the gain I guess, he just wanted to get a feel of this technology that's why he didn't hold that long and maybe he just bought a few so it doesn't makes any difference, he already has tons of money to begin with.

The secret is not having bitcoin. The secret is selling bitcoin!

{ Imagine a sequence of bits generated from the first decimal place of the square roots of whole integers that are irrational numbers. If the decimal falls between 0 and 5, it's considered bit 0, and if it falls between 5 and 10, it's considered bit 1. This sequence from a simple integer count of contiguous irrationals and their logical decimal expansion of the first decimal place is called the 'main irrational stream.' Our goal is to design a physical and optical computing system system that can detect when this stream starts matching a specific pattern of a given size of bits. bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=166760.0 } Satoshi did use a friend class in C++ and put a comment on the code saying: "This is why people hate C++".

I am glad Steve Wozniak sees former Apple CEO sees the great potential in bitcoin and believes it will become a major currency in the nearest future.  His opinion is highly supported and i believe we will continue to see other big names in the world accept and support bitcoin and its great ideology.

He was wanting to own some was for experimental purposes and not to make any financial gains from purchasing it. He sold before the price went up so he didnt make anything from his holdings.
But he says he sees it as the worlds single currency one day.
I will only disagree the statement credited to Steve Wozniak saying that Bitcoin will become world single currency in the future, It will absolutely be difficult to actualize that aim due to varying economic policies of each individual country although bitcoin may be used as an alternative to whatever digital currency that will be adopted but cannot take total control of the whole global currency.

Reading some things about bitcoin and the technological back up, one shouldn't be saying they are just holding bitcoin for experimental purposes when a rival company already have an inbuilt cryptocurrency wallet on their phone. The truth is that bitcoin will defeat all known traditional currency. Am glad I know about bitcoin at this stage of my life even though I didn't take chances during the 2017 bull run.

I think Woz was careful with his words, these people have too much spotlight on them especially with regulations and figuring out what is okay with crypto nowadays in the states. My belief is the internet generation is in it much more than we realize

Woz was very positive in what he said, which is a high-grade impulse, since the long-term effects can be seen, not instantaneously reflected in the price of bitcoin, however, a person so influential, that is in charge of a great world-class brand, accepts and supports Blockchain technology, this will have a good effect on the entire competition, as they will not want to be left behind.

It is really hard to make bitcoin the single currency around the world. But this also could've made a small impact upon the market of bitcoin. The speculative nature of bitcoin makes it react positive to good news and negative to bad news to certain extent. As mentioned it will get used as an alternate to the traditional fiat and not a mainstream currency.

It could be one day when each countries own currency begins to fail those leaders will look for an alternative so they can pay the countries resources in order to run them.
So many of them on verge of collapse. Firstly venezuela then a large country such as great britian when brexit will be fully in the throws will get the other bigger countries to take heed into looking at cryptocurrencies as a bandage to their problems.

I was checking live transactions on the bitcoin network just today and see that we're on ~4tps, we're not even close to 10% of the world's population using it and we're halfway of choking it's limit in a relatively calm time, I also believe that bitcoin has the capacity to become the world's single currency but there's lots of improvements to be made.

It could be one day when each countries own currency begins to fail those leaders will look for an alternative so they can pay the countries resources in order to run them.
Every single fiat currency has already started the process of failing, and that decades ago. Most countries also have to deal with a massive national debt they won't ever be able to pay off, regardless of how much money they print.

What worries me about countries with large Bitcoin holdings is that it gives them more incentive than ever before to steer development in a certain direction or even attempt to reverse transactions they don't approve.

We haven't yet seen the true nature of governments and I think it's only a matter of time before we do. The longer they stay out of this space the healthier Bitcoin's ecosystem is.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

Well, I can completely agree with Steve Wozniak, because I never cared about the bitcoin price much it was just like a surprise for me for staying in this community. I have seen the price grow from 5$ to 5000$ in past few years, I have seen many crashes and I was also suffering in them, I have seen many people committed suicide after exchanges got hacked any many more things. after all this, I am in this community just because I love technology more than its value. I know people will leave bitcoin if it faced some mega crash and price dropped to 500$ but I won't leave it.

Time will tell where btc and blockchain technology is heading, 5 years back nobody believe btc will ascend to this level of success both in development and recognition, so 5-10yrs ahead who knows where this technology would be globally, definitely there will be more Wozniak to adopt btc in the coming years, in the end i hope btc will not solely lies in the hands of some wealthy few who has the power to influence price.

I do not think so. When the whole world will one country, it will be possible, otherwise  each country has its own arrangement, the country does not have to depend on money, but the money have to depend on country.
Absolutely mate the government controls the money (bad sad to say that the government was being controlled by money because of corruption and this made things different from what it must be)but regarding to the apple former CEO this will never become reality because for sure leaders of each countries will agreed and disagreed to some issues .so basically this will never applicable in this generation

Glad that he's on the positive side about bitcoin. I'm not against how he sees bitcoin in the future as the world's single currency. Its good that he believes in bitcoin like that. But for me, it'll be still hard to make bitcoin as the world's single currency.

I read many of the users are not agreeing it as "world Single currency" but I see it as possibility.  In future when countries have to do trade, they can simply trade in BTC and do not have to trust each other currency or currency of any third country.
