I think you can do some tweak in your scrapping tool. Instead of the bought rank why not just allow the earned rank when you do the scrapping.

That would require checking a post instead of the profile, too much work for something the user sets by himself

You should pay attention on these two stuffs:
(1) Last Parse Timepoint:

Last Parsed    1 hours ago

(2) Next Planned Parse Timepoint:

Next Planned Parse    3/7/2019 11:33:53 PM

It means that there is delayed check and updated timepoints between bitcointalk profiles of the forum and the BPIP site built by Vod.
Delayed time.
You can check it yourself next time you get new merits.

Also, not just me noticed about it (PM conversation):

The reason depends on data dump from theymos.
I remembered that long time ago (months or weeks), DdmrDdmr or someone else (I believe DdmrDdmr is the first one mentioned this issue) raised the disadvantage of user rank tittle from data dumps.
Who bought Copper Membership will always be displayed as Copper Member, no matter what kind of rank they stood at specific timepoint.

I prefer Sr. member then to have copper member rank. Copper member is something you can easily buy but the rank up from your activity and earned merit is something to be proud of and I am proud of it.

Sure, I can do it for you, manually.
If more guys asked to update their ranks manually like you, I would go crazy, fella.

I'll like to acknowledge the fact that I have joined the very first club "250 earned merit" . Although it took me some time but I have now earned 250+ since the introduction of the merit system and after an initial airdrop of 10 merit was received as a member ranked user back then (2018).

Besides your own benefit with 250 earned merits, mentioned by LoyceV above, I started the clubs for the two main objectives.

Objectives:
(1) Giving them a round of applause for their consecutive contributions;
(2) Giving other forum users their inspirational stories, from which they can learn from those honourable guys' merited posts/ topics.

To be honest, months ago, I felt like merits ruin my life.
Then, I known I won't get anything if I keep dissapointed and have negative response with merit system.
So, you know what?
I tried to learn from the most merited users during those early days, like @Jet Cash (who was like a shooting star in the short period after merit system activated), @nullius (that I can not learn from him due to my limited experience in technical issues), @coinlocket$ and @DdmrDdmr (who I admired and learned the ways the contribute with statistical analyses), and others.
That's one of main reasons why I started this one, and I believe it is helpful for newbies readily to improve themselves.
