I don't think this is actually a question to ask, we have seen the price of bitcoin go high in the past, it even climbed up to $20k at some point and began a market correction ever since then which I believe that we have already got pass the stage of correction and we are at the stage of seeing a bull run in the price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrency especially those that are top in the market.

Now the price of bitcoin is not good, at the same time bitcoin is very promising and high potential coin in the coin market. So in future we can expect the massive growth but it will take long time. Waiting for the upcoming Bull run is the only thing we can really do but for the price to really turn and hit another All time high this year my thoughts are really impossible but there is still a possibility that it may surge, But this year I can not see a reason behind it but if we will look at on what's gonna happen next year we can see that the price of bitcoin might surge up in 2020 And because the next bitcoin halving will be on that year, I really think this year will still be very bearish indeed.

I guess everyone's prediction is really for a good bull-run this year. After all, we are tired of the bears since 2018. However, some things need to happened before we can see another bull run.

Perhaps a Bitcoin ETF or Bakkt future offering going live. So for now, I wouldn't put too much news that we will recover this year, I mean I wanted it to happen, but if there's no catalyst then we better be prepared that this year might not be a good one, just saying.

I can understand bitcoin prices are very fascinating but crypto is a long term asset where you can see a big Impact only after 2020, Market value has been continuously manipulated by big investors also the supply and demand seems to be low that's the reason the value is not moving up. Most of those so called predictions are not really predictions but just what people want to see but they are unable to understand the difference, an important increase in the price in bitcoin is possible but it seems like it is too soon for me for that increase to happen, the whales are not done getting cheap coins and the more they can delay the bull market the more bitcoin they can get as people sell their coins for a bad price because they cannot deal with the losses anymore.

You also need to understand that the market works in cycles, last 2017 was the last great bullish cycles and eventually everyone was caught in the hysteria and thinking it won't go down, unfortunately a new cycle risen that up to this point, we are still experiencing it and no one knows for sure when it's going to end.

Not all crypto investors have that kind of mindset, majority of them are still living in 2017 and thinking that they can make loads of money here and didn't look for long term. Manipulations, FUD are some things to consider. If you're going to look at the bright side, bitcoin block halving in 2020 maybe what we all have been waiting for as a catalyst to push the price where everyone will be happy.

that is a very good point and people don't seem to take lessons from the history and the mistakes they have made. now they are repeating the same mistake again but in the opposite direction! now that price has dropped for so long, they are caught in a different type of hysteria and are starting to think that the drop has to continue forever!
