So I deposited a sum of coin from Coinbase into my wallet while it was still offline, since then my bitcoin core has downloaded the full blockchain and Armory is showing as online but only 228065 blocks connected. I still have 0 balance and i'm not sure of what to do.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Don't worry. The coins aren't going anywhere. Smiley First off, can you please post your logs and tell us which version of Armory you're running?

Honestly I'm only a beginner and I know now that I shouldn't have chosen a full node wallet like this but my electrum wasn't working at the time. So I'm running 0.96.5 and I'm not sure what you mean by logs, I'm gonna be a pain in the ass to help because I'm not vey experienced but thanks for the reply. Also I've since deleted and redownloaded armory and its now stuck on "scanning  transaction history".

Either Bitcoin Core hasn't fully downloaded the blockchain, or Armory is struggling somewhere... as it is only showing 228065 blocks... the current blockheight is over 560000 blocks.

To "post your logs"... you will need to use the "File -> Export Log File..." option. Save the .txt file somewhere... then you can open it with a text editor, select ALL of the text and the copy/paste into the "New Paste" textbox at: https://pastebin.com/

Then click the "create a new paste" button... and you should see a "unique" URL in your webbrowser... something like: https://pastebin.com/iCnqThzC

Simply copy/paste that URL into a post here.
