I currently hold some very good coins and made a fortune in 2017 but lost most of it due to the crypto winter... But... now is a great time to stocktake and fill up on more good coins !

My question is.. what's your coin of choice that was very high in price back in 2017 (compared to now) that is most likely to to see massive gains again when the Bitcoin bulls return again soon? I recall BCH doing quite well compared to its current price, for example..

Your are not asking for the best altcoin investment, but you still asking which coin will go up I can't understand what is the difference.

My favorite always is Ethereum. After POS integration it may rise good.

you think you made profit because they were "good coins"
mistake number 2:
similar to mistake number 1 you think you lost money because of some imaginary thing you are calling "Crypto winter".

the reality is that you participated in a large scale pump and dump. if you sold before the dump began then you made profit and if you were fooled into holding while others dumped you lost a lot of money.

it will be the same scenario in the future too so your last statement about "stockpiling" doesn't even make sense. you are bag holding a bunch of dying coins right now!

that is a big mistake that anybody can make in altcoin market.
just because some altcoin got pumped big time it doesn't mean it will pump the same size again. in fact it is a well known fact that those coins that are pumped the most won't get pumped the same again because they get dumped the most too and people who are crushed under that dump are not going to trust it ever again.

IMO, there are quite a number of coins that will pump when the bull market come. Some safe choices of mine are ETH and Neo, the prices dipped 12x to 20x from ATH.

LTC was good, I think it will easily return to its peak price, even ETH looks very cheap now. These two are very safe options in my opinion.

I only trust ETH, LTC is no longer as good as before. The price of LTC has fallen too deep and it is difficult for it to rise again like before

Not really, if you take a look at the last pump, the altcoin was the first coin was starting to pump, and many coins get a big rally in the market. I remember many of altcoins like DGB, SC, ZCL, ETH, XRP, XEM, XLM, and the other coins is trying race to reach the highest price. And then when each coin has to reach ATH, the time for bitcoin to rally and finally, we see bitcoin reached the high price ever.

But we don't know with this time because the chance for bitcoin and altcoin to rally to the highest price will come, and we are going to see which one will start to pump.

I think you'd better to keep all of them up, and wait for nay increase of every coins that you had. Hopefully there will be time when the bull run happen, all the coins that we kept will also increase.

It is true. I see a pretty good potential from ETH, the market is strong. Moreover, the decline is quite far since entering 2018, so the potential to skyrocket back is getting bigger. We only need to monitor the progress of the news and prepare to do the best analysis for the right timing to buy and then enjoy the increase.

Most of the people invest their money to the ethereum and oncr the bull run comes for sure the ethereum coins will hit again the value of the thousands of dollars and Im expected this year will the price of minimum of $1500 or the highest which is $5000. some people thinks that bch is a joke or sh*t coin but you are different from them  , you think bch is a gem in which i also agree with you because i also see that bch has a potential to pump more in the future .

of course it is because bitcoin is the main branch of all cryptos  .  whatever happens to bitcoin altcoins will also follow .

I think BCH is a pump and dump coin and it will be better if you skip this coin.

Right now we can't really compare the coin price with bitcoin, cause all the coins were to drop so much. But for a hope i still put my believe in either Bitcoin or ethereum, those were good coins to begin with.

I believe ETH will be the top. Next would be AION which was above 4$ back then and now settled to 0.12$. ARN also pumped to 10$ and now is only around 0.30$. I still have big trust on these coins.

I guess not only you, it happened to all of us who bought crypto from 2017 when the market was very green and bullish.
From my opinion, LTC is a good coin to hold. Although the price of LTC now is not high as in 2017, but it has surpassed many altcoins rank above it.
So, it will be best to hold LTC for long time i think.

I guess not only you, it happened to all of us who bought crypto from 2017 when the market was very green and bullish.
From my opinion, LTC is a good coin to hold. Although the price of LTC now is not high as in 2017, but it has surpassed many altcoins rank above it.
So, it will be best to hold LTC for long time i think.

LTC is always the best altcoin in the top 5 in this market. The current market is very bad and you should not compare it with 2017. But in the past LTC had a strong growth and I believe it will soon return to ATH.

For myself, thinking of the best altcoin is, ethereum ripple and litecoin, I believe this will have a future and can provide good benefits. You have to have patience in investing in crypto, because even though it's the best altcoin, it definitely experiences a decline in the market when it deteriorates.
