I was trying to transfer my Bitcoin and for some reason my Bitcoin was sent to the wrong address, I just started to use bitcoin recently and now i'm suck on how to get my money back. If you have no idea whose address that is, then your device might be infected with malware or virus. There are some of this which changes what you copied into their own wallet address so they get to steal your funds while others records what you type and copy.

By the way I checked the address bc1qy4jleyqse9jka39296vzn6ykx7hk3mh63zpwvl and that it is receiving funds from 4 addresses. Are those all your addresses? Or which one is yours?
And what wallet or exchange where you using and where were you trying to send them?

OMG! There is a posibility that he clicked a link which is actually a phishing link. Be careful next time. It is now impossible to retrieve your Bitcoin. You need to move on and learn from your mistake.

As far as I know, if you sent bitcoin to someone (wrong address) you could not get your bitcoin back unless you know the owner of that address and ask him to send it back.

Yes indeed. This is the only way to retrieve your money, just hope that you could be able to contact the receiver and also hope that he is kind enough to give your money back. But to be honest, for me such thing is a little bit impossible because that's money — a thing which you can't easily let slipped away.

Try to scan your devices, access your wallet from a different device to improve security of the wallet perhaps (if you are using blockchain.info, for instance, you can change the password). The money is still in that wallet, and since you don't know the owner, there is nothing you can do to get it back. Well, you could try writing posts on forums, asking the owner to send the money back, of course, but I don't think it is going to work. You lost 80 dollars at most, it could have been way more than that, so it's a valuable lesson.

Its look like you just get phished by any hacker .However if you really didn't  try to send your fund to this address and its are happening it means your account is not in control of you. However if you know the owner wallet somehow you can refund it by contacting with him. Its better to be careful to the next time with your wallet and keep it secured.

I agree too, that or he typed the wrong address. But seems like he is sure that it is the right one, possibly copying and pasting but even then you can make the mistake of not copying one digit, that's why it's a good thing to double check even if you seem annoying doing it often.

I was also a bit worried for him when i first read the post because i thought that he invested thousands into it. So it was an $80 lesson, could have been a lot worse indeed.

When you're new this things will happen to you no matter how smart you can be. Just learn from it. Be careful with scams and the links you click, also make sure to double check addresses and amounts.

Also, do a malware scan on your computer and let us know the results.

This is the negative side of blockchain once you send transaction it would not be cancellable i have also an experienced the same where I bought bitcoin for 37500$ instead of 3750 good thing the last sell price was completed instead. Lesson learned double or tripple check destination number when doing transactionvas it is not reversible.

Absolutely this is a virus / malware that infects your computer. So whatever you copy will change with the address on the offender. I once demonstrated myself this way, please be careful for all

This is why its always necessary to double check a recipient address. I wonder how it happen when you are the one going to copy paste that address where you want the BTC to be sent regardless of which wallet you are using.

Next time you might have to check out the links that you are clicking..it must be some phishing link..if you just started using bitcoin then you may know now the importance of using hardware wallet

There is a common malware that puts in the hackers address when you try to send a transaction.  This is why it is always recommended to triple check the address you are sending to.  If you are signing offline with a hardware wallet this will never be a problem for you.

All 4 of those addresses belong to me, I was using electrum, and I was trying to send the balance to an online market.

It looks like your mobile phone or desktop is infected with a virus that replaces the recipient's address.
To be sure, open your Electrum wallet and see if the address you enter will remain unchanged. If it changes automatically, it means that your device is malware softwear.

I don't believe I'm infected with a virus because the address didn't change and my malware software isn't finding anything. In my opinion I was using ChipMixer before I sent the bitcoin and I probably miscopied an address or misclicked or something idk. I guess its gone but its a valuable lesson, thanks for the help.
