If I were you I would just let my bitcoin stay's as bitcoin we are in a bear movement and I think you would gain more if you would let it stay safe in the bitcoin room and let Altcoin perish in the dark, Because we don't afford for bitcoin to go down anymore and you will be one of the people that sold their bitcoin to make it go down any further, Well that is just my suggestion and if you truly want to invest in some projects because this is your money then use fiat money in buying Altcoins and for me the Altcoin that I think that will last and make it big in the next bull run will be,
1 Ethereum
2 Presearch
3 Binance
4 XRP
5 Monero

Just a limited that I can think of but I didn't put the rest of my portfolio I just choose of the top 5 that I think, And even though I share this to you I still consider your decision and I am not a financial advisor and this is just speculation or a suggestion.

dont invest your money to altcoins. wait halving. in 2020 btc will fly. it will reah at least 30.000 dolllar. after that you can invest other coins.
until that time no coin can pump

Some amount of btc should be held and few if want to convert can be done into altcoins like ETH, NEO, BNB at this time is doing well so for short term can be invested. Though for long term one can still continue to buy the top 10 coins from the altcoins which will continue to grow in coming months.

I’m feeling like most altcoins have bottomed out for the most part. If things ever turn around, I think a lot of these projects will skyrocket.

I currently have 79% of my holdings in BTC. 8% Eth, 7% LTC, 3% BNB, and the rest in various shitcoins.

Let’s say I wanted to put 5% of my bitcoin into 3 projects...what would you recommend?

Thanks. (Please not shitcoin shills. Real projects. Real longevity.)

Well, you already got your answer man, the three altcoins you mentioned in your post is the I think the most reliable altcoin to be invested in right now. Ethereum Project, Litecoin, And Binance all of them are big project. All of them are well developed until now. Ethereum with its massive adoption on ICO. Binance is the top exchange, with the biggest volume, most of the time. And Litecoin well, it does not have massive development, or any such thing, but this project is old, so in term of longevity Litecoin is no doubt.

So, just to put more money on your current altcoin investment.

I would say Nexo (probably the best security token you can find right now, and very undervalued in my opinion), Populous (it may take a while yet until it explodes yet, but it will for sure) and I personally like Lympo project a lot. Mark Cuban is involved in this last one, which i think may be a "guarantee" for the future.

When bitcoin goes crazy after halving and altcoin goes even more than it. Just try to doversify our amount into the bitcoin and altcoins. That much better rather than try to keep them all into the bitcoin form. That's my thought on this thing.

I agree with you and it is a swift move that you have planned to undergo. Most alts have started rising against their BTC pairs showing it clearly that they have bottomed out and left with BTC to also come in the game. As you have said it, you should put everything on it but rather some few coins so that when the unexpected happens, you don't get ruined too much.

It is good that bitcoin has been in the bearish market for long and that has discouraging the op not to keep holding his bitcoin but to invest into other coins and I believe that ethereum and EOS are some of the coins you can invest now.

I would like to know about of this EOS because I have some of this yet, I am still hesitant to hodl it in long term. Everyone was accumulating and starting to buy back everything that they have lost before since we are in a bearish market. Everything would be too easy to buy and you can accumulate as much as you like due to the cheap price of most altcoins.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned Stellar (XLM)

It was created by the same person who developed the first Ripple code (and improved it with Stellar), it's as fast if not faster than Ripple, 2 to 5 seconds, most of the time 3 second transaction time.

Also, it's 3 times cheaper to buy.

Altcoin suggestions? Well, i'm surprised Airswap (AST), AppCoin (APPC) and Phoenix (PHX) are not jumping like crazy already...

All 3 very well designed, fast, robust and available on Binance.

I don't mind, I keep buying some every week for these low prices.

if you're planning to invest again then i suggest to pick those alternative coins that already made a bump previously among with  bitcoin to ensure you can gain profits rather than investing on some uncertain recommendation  from other ppl which is just to make sure you'll need another time for it to make a research before you can invest. So much better to choose those certain and trustworthy.

IMO, Altcoins. With ALT you will have more than option available for investment and this helps you to diversify your investment portfolio. I can suggest you some digital assets (coins) on which you can start doing some research and study their websites. Only invest if you feel that these projects have potential. 5 Digital Assets that have good future in the cryptospace could be Emc2, Dgb, Stellar, XLM and SC. Just my two cents on this. Better get going as I monitor my live trading sessions. Best of luck!

Minex and Ethershift are what I am aiming right now,
These two are what I want to buy I think they would be great for a long term investment too.

For now, I am still confident with the top 10 coins. And it's still risky to buy coins with very low trading volumes. But if you want to be successful, of course, you have to be brave enough to take risks. Before you buy coins, it's better to do research on the sales chart.

The is mostly the right decision you have chosen to make by pulling part of your money from bitcoin to buy other altcoins but most of the coins that are still much more reliable are still the ones you are currently holding which you can still take part of your bitcoin to add to them each but if you insist on altcoins,  MTC(docademics), XRP, EOS AND CARDANO all have a great prospect for this year and in the long run.

I think the investment on altcoin will be more useful for the future so if you want to sell your investment for long term investment then it will be more appropriate but selling the Bitcoin and investing in other currency will not be a good idea for me to move on through the situation.

Your feeling could not be more than right! Countless projects are deeper than any previously analyzed bottom. So it's interesting your manifesto to take up some positions. I think you need to consider your needs. Is your ambition to increase your BTC position or indeed find any ALT that can compete with BTC? After answering this, you will have a good north for what to do.

NANO is definitely a coin you should keep an eye for. I think it's seriously underrated right now and needs more recognition for the others. Ethereum and some others like litecoin and BNB are a must-have also in my opinion.

In my opinion, this is the right decision and you can later sell these altcoins for getting more BTC. This is how experienced traders make money with these tricks. Altcoins can give huge returns if you know what you are doing.

yes you are right but it will not suitable for all people because lots of people will definitely hold on their stability from Bitcoin investment and there are lots of altcoin investors also stay strong with their decision show the projects from each and every currency will increase day by day so it could be a good development here.

I don't have a confident with selling some Bitcoin for investing any particular altcoin because the total market is also being in a dump so selling something to put into other investment will also be like that so I don't recommend this type of movement at this time.

It is up you. If that is your decision then that is a wise decision. You can still gain profits in different altcoins.
Why don't you try IOST and XRP? I have a good trading income from them. Well, you can still choose based on your favor but choose altcoins that have a good platforms.
