There are very few online casinos right now that uses blockchain tech though I hope more will arise. It's because blockchain casinos are a lot better than traditional casinos in terms of transparency, information security, operational costs, and accessibility. Traditional casinos have many hidden tricks that gamblers are unaware of. Also, many casinos take gamblers' personal informatioin and these include but are not limited to debit&credit card details that can leaked when not secured 100% but with blockchain, these data is secured more safely. Plus, the operational of online casinos are a lot lower than traditional casinos.

In short, blockchain casinos are therefore safer, easier and better than traditional online casinos.

As of now there isn't much bitcoin casinos on the blockchain technology. Everything is developed on the common scripts with their own house edge preferences. Recent days there were more focus towards the development of bitcoin casinos on blockchain platform, as suggested it'll provide next level of transparency to the users.

I don't think so bitcoin casino's are not operated on the blockchain and the name is not in any way related to bitcoin other then acceptance of bitcoin as a form of payment on the platform I gues bitcoin casino is the same as the old paper faint casino.

You should understand the different between Bitcoin casinos and blockchain casinos.

Bitcoin casinos are betting sites that accept Bitcoin, simple as that. Just because a site accepts BTC doesn't mean the transactions (payments and withdrawals) are decentralized.

Blockchain casinos, on the other hand, are betting sites whose payments/withdrawals are done wallet-to-wallet. And those which we call "dApp casinos" which run based on smart contracts are those that now revolutionize online betting in a fully decentralized manner.

So what mean that some gambling site is "provably fair", is it possible to check that somehow, if is not based on blockchain?
Provably fair was created because of some people think that they are being cheated by the gambling site. We have different verifiers in order to verify that the dice that you rolled was not cheated.

You can try and check the verifier here if you feel aggrieved https://dicesites.com/.

Bitcoin casino are simply that you are transacting with bitcoin to the casino site, account or something, it might not be decentralized because it can be monitored and its outcome can be manipulated.

Crypto casino and traditional currency casino are the same cause the players are all treated with the probably fair deal and run on off chain which always result in house edge base on the centralized mode of operations, cosino deposits are either done in faint and some time with cryptocurrencies that is for the cosino that have the feature to accept crypto deposits.

Bitcoin casinos are run on the blockchain because they use contract address for all transactions and that is only made possible using the blockchain. Each play is associated with a unique bitcoin address which will be used for all deposits from the player.

Hello everyone!

Do the casinos where we can play with cryptocurrencies are all based on blockchain, so we can control every deal, or crypto is there only as a form of payment?

I think bitcoin casinos are not based on blockchain, it is simply created outside the blockchain. It works same as how real life casinos work, the only difference is that the form of payment is via cryprocurrency.

There are casinos that are blockchain based but I did not see it popular.
Most casinos that offers games like dice are based on provably fair system and it can be verified that the system is accurate.
The blockchain system is very useful for the payment system, we can play it anytime since these casinos are online 24/7 same with out payment processor.

Most casinos are only regularly based but there are also those that provide blockchain based casinos like Tron. Such casinos are rarely in demand by gamblers because all they need is a payment from the games they follow so the blockchain is only used as a payment in the form of bitcoin or altcoin. Not many people use blockchain-based casinos even though casinos like that make it easier for us to transparency the game so we won't feel cheated by the bookie because we can monitor it transparently.

Some casinos are blockchain based. And for some they're not. But, if we are talking about provably fair in here(based on OP's question and second question) provably fair is not based on blockchain. We are using verifiers for it not to be bias. Sometimes, we use 3rd party programs for us to verify our bets.

I think that cryptography exists only as a payment. The same thing happens on the stock exchanges. You bring your bitcoins to the stock exchange, perform dozens of trading operations, but your stock wallet remains motionless.

Most gambling sites only use bitcoin as payments like those sites that are already popular in this forum. However, there are some sites that use blockchain as the basis of their gambling system even though we don't find many sites because it is less popular with other gambling sites and can even be caused by members not understanding the workings of blockchain-based gambling sites.

Not all of them, but i think there is a crypto casino that based on blockchain, i forgot the name.

Most crypto gambling site/casino is same like the fiat one and mostly not based on blockchain. I think only the payment/currency that they use, cryptocurrency which is based on blockchain.
