Certain countries are blocked because of rewards abuse. Chat.lbry.com #verification channel is the best bet. But remember, you can use LBRY without the rewards program.

The sample below is of Channel profiles coming soon to the LBRY ecosystem. We'll also have new stream (content claim) attributes for size, content duration, dimensions, and release date. These will make classification much easier, and bring a whole new level to Discovery. We want to create a platform where users choose what they want to watch, and what they feel is great content with their credits. We want it to be controlled by the users, and those making sound transactions on the network...from publishers, miners, end users, hosters, and curators (and who knows where others will play a role?).

Later this year we'll also introduce support (claim level transactions) metadata...so we can do things like commenting, rating, community tagging (choose/build a web of trust)...the possibilities are endless. Also will allow a unique subscription system where creators have access to their subscribers' profile...and they can sign content so only those with X amount of months as a supporter, and X amount of LBC, can have early access to. You can do this on multiple levels, all up to the discretion of the publisher. We'll also have to keep in mind for a subscriber to be able to revoke access to current data (i.e. clear future access to profile)...that's important for user privacy as it's a completely opt-in system.

The topic is a good way to refresh the LBRY project in the year 2019, I appreciated the initiatives of LBRY team so much.
Nevertheless, I would suggest the team to adjust the OP a bit (if they agree with my suggestion).
The link and info to the past topic in bitcointalk forum should be presented in the first lines of the OP, just below the tittle, maybe.
Currently, the info has been presented in the middle of the OP.

Yes, it still has a reward program, but it requires verification for a new user. You might don't need verification if you use your old accounts as I did. The rewards are vary depending on the 'job', for the weekly rewards for features content creators is 10 LBC, and others are may vary between 10~100 (?). I suggest to take a look at the nowadays LBRY app, it has significant improvements.

LBRY has a program about Youtube partnership, and if the content creators want to sync their youtube videos to LBRY, sometimes they get a free featured content 'promotion', their videos are listed in the top of the first pages LBRY application, CMIIW. The LBRY protocol itself is purely decentralized censorship-resistant we can't do anything about it. Nevertheless, an application made by LBRY team arent fully censorship-resistant rather non-arbitrary censorship, its means it follows the US laws since LBRY is based on the US. So, the content within the applications is removed and blocked, but still accessible within the networks which is LBRY protocol.

What can we do about the child porn that spread in the tor networks, and what can we do about torrent sites that spread a lot of pirated content. It is a movement from the tor community to not list any CP sites easily.

I'm afraid no, AFAIK, its meant it that way to make the content availability spread (seed). At least for right now, I'm sure in the feature that will be removed.
