It seems like that. I was hoping there was a way...too bad. I registered at kraken.com and deposited 20 dollar then made a buy 5X leverage. I watched price go up and down about 10 dollar but profit/loss remained zero:)

I think you misunderstood me. My budget is 100 dollar but I would like to receive 1 dollar for every 1 dollar move of BTC/USD. I will close trade if profit is >3 dollar, so the fee must be very small

It is not advisable for you to trade with little amount as the market will swallow everything.  If you really want to makes money from the cryptocurrencies market and trading.  I know there are some trading platform that allowed that but many posters has said that already. Cryptocurrency trading honestly should be made with large amount in order to a significant amount of profit, that is due to the fact the it is based on the value of the coin that you are trading there for if the coin just moves a bit you won't make a lot and such is the current case of the market, and therefore i would not suggest any less than a 100 dollar to start trading with if you actually want to make a profit from this market, but hey you could start with 10 dollar but it will really take a log time before you make any significant return, at least not in the current market situation.

If you dont have enough money to start trading i recommend you to collect your money for a few months and then start.During this time you can trade on demo platforms and gain some experience so that when you start trading with real money you will know how eveything works and make profit faster.

Collecting money is not a good idea and he can miss the next trend during the money accumulation period.  Demo platforms can let him train his trading skills, ability to analyze the trends etc.

If the coin is very cheap, yes, you can buy it lot more with less investment. But i would advice you to start with minimum $50 to $100 dollars to gain a decent profit. I don't think so. It will just eat the fees. Take note that in every contract there is a fee associated with each entry.
Withdrawal fees are higher too, in bitmex. I didn't try to trade with that very small amount but it is possible. But the o ly problem is the fees. I advise you to at least start at $100 . But of course, choose only amount that you can afford to lose.
We cannot dictate and demand you of higher amount. It is all up to you. But if you want to feel your profit, make it just enough.

That's how I started anyways, $100, win some, lose some. But the most important thing is that you learn and you get experience. As for arbitrage though, not good at this point, specially you have to compete with traders who uses bot.

BTC/USD exchange with 1 dollar transaction, I'm not sure there is because with the current value I think the minimum is probably around 4-5 dollars. in my personal opinion by trading with low funds even though we know that the value of bitcoin is also quite high, it is less feasible and the profits you might get can be deducted by a large percentage on the trading platform fee.

Even if he does arbitraging and use the best exchanges with lowest tx fees, still hard to get profit if your capital is small.
Might as well save money while learning your strategies in trading and familiarize with possible exchanges that you will use in the future.
Compare their fees and the approximate duration of depositing and withdrawing your coins.
Try small amount so at least you have the grasp how the exchange respond to those requests.
So next time you are ready with your funds, you very well know your strategies on how to get things done at a shortest time possible.

What do you think? you're going too far from small investment? Small capital is just for trading, don't be fool with crypto advertisements online that says you're going to make a double so you as a beginner you're going to try then you'll just lose because you know less. You really must not do that, gain experience first and have some readings.

I think no, the amount of your transaction is too low and even after only a few transactions, you will not be able to trade anymore because the transaction fee and deposit have occupied your $ 1 .

I know everyone else here is discouraging you not to trade with 1 dollar only worth of BTC to USD but I still do. Despite the small amount of earnings and all the fees given, (fees are not really that high, it would only cost lest than 0.1% in most exchanges.) I still do not give as long as you know how to trade because someday that small amount of BTC will keep on increasing until it becomes a whole bitcoin. But that would take months or years and not to mention the risk of losing.

If you're a Newbie trader, then I would suggest you watch the basic tutorial first. Trading is not that easy so you must have at least some knowledge before trying it. Regarding the starting funds, I would suggest at least $10, then the friendly trading site for me are Binance, Kucoin and Mercatox exchange.

Why you want to trade so low like as 1$? If you trade with this amount I think maximum exchange will not support 1$ buy/sell in BTC/USD pair. And have some exchange fees. So you will not get your 1$ after trade. So I think this is worst to try. Thanks

If you are looking for a very low trading fee platform, I suggest you go with Binance, for now have the lowest trading fee among all the trading platforms I have encountered and I believe you will be able to achieve your 1 dollar per 1 dollar move provided you trade well.

Why do you have to close trade at 3 usd because you have to also consider the fee involved too, probably you will meet you target of 3 usd when you close trade at 5 or 6 usd, because you have to consider all the deposit fee, withdrawal fee and trading fee even with Binance that has the lowest trading fee, you still have to make more than that.

If you are on a budget, you need to start a decent amount that would not eat up your trading fees too much. To give you an idea about my preferred amount, it’s between $10 to $20 worth of coins/tokens when I start doing the buy/sell game.

Binance is a good exchange for you to start trading BTC. To give you an idea about trading with Ethereum (in case you wanna explore this) you can try MetaMorph Pro exchange as it has 0% trading fees while on Alpha Stage.

However, I don’t think $1 is an ideal amount for you to start day trading (unless you just hold it until the market skyrockets). Just my two sats.

Then I can understand that someone wants to invest only such small amount and not to risk anything. Still even in that case I would invest a bit more to get more realistic feeling. Too much low capital for trading, and for sure you will gain nothing on this one. If you are serious on trading, you have to get a good and more realistic capital. $100 can be a good starting capital, if you don’t have it right now then make ways to earn that first and trade if you already have this. In trading sometimes fees are making your money loss on most cases so I don’t think $1 can trade continuously on a well known exchange.

If you wanted to scalp your way thru, I highly recommend that you use a high volume exchange, usually trading fees are only 0.1% not per dollar so it could vary on every trade depending on how much you would trade. As far I've experienced my funds at the moment isn't big of a deal especially in a third world country. But matters aside you won't have big gains if you don't have good capital. If he is even to use leverage, I doubt if that will be possible on 1 dollar because leveraging involve the use of crypto or forex brokers and has to trade using the meta trader, most crypto brokers have teir own minimum deposit before you can trade and 1 dollar is not an option at all.  It is really not realistic to trade on 1 dollar and expect to make any profit out of that.

In as much as I know that we get lots of advice to trade with money we can spare or do away with, I don’t think it should be as low as 1 usd. At least 10 usd would have been a realistic value to discuss on.

If he is even to use leverage, I doubt if that will be possible on 1 dollar because leveraging involve the use of crypto or forex brokers and has to trade using the meta trader, most crypto brokers have teir own minimum deposit before you can trade and 1 dollar is not an option at all.  It is really not realistic to trade on 1 dollar and expect to make any profit out of that.

In as much as I know that we get lots of advice to trade with money we can spare or do away with, I don’t think it should be as low as 1 usd. At least 10 usd would have been a realistic value to discuss on.

Bigger value has more chances to gain higher profit, that great to see as money mate. But first and foremost I don't practice that way of trading, because you can't be sure you'll be able to sustain winning in the long run. You're capable of losing that huge amount of $10$ instantly, that's why it's better to bet only $1 as starting so you'll be able to enjoy the rest of it. But like many other said, your profit will not bigger as other people and you need to satisfy the result but you have another option to add more balance so you can trade with medium or big balance.

I think you are talking about leverage facility. None of the crypto exchange allows leverage facility for crypto trading. If you would like to trade with a small amount with the leverage you should choose a forex broker like who allow crypto trading like XM. But remember high leverage is too risky for the account. You could lose your whole balance.

Lol, I can't imagine how you can make a profit on that 1$ value of cryptocurrency in trading. In fee's, you need to cover that every transaction that you had. So a small amount, the best thing to start amount is 1k dollars you can buy a huge amount of that. Big capital will earn a big profit. For me, it won't work if I start with a small amount.

If you wanted to scalp your way thru, I highly recommend that you use a high volume exchange, usually trading fees are only 0.1% not per dollar so it could vary on every trade depending on how much you would trade. To mention, if you are trading only a dollar, you need 100% gain to gain another dollar, if it good for learning but can't pay your time

Which will really be difficult to achieve that 100% profit daily even when you scalp, for 100%, it means market has to fluctuate lots of time which for now I believe that most markets are a bit less volatile and preparing to head for the bullish trend.

It's a simple calculation, with 10 dollars you need to make at least 50% to have for fees and maybe from that 50% 20-30% is your profit. In dollars, you need to make at least 5 dollars, and to pay fees 2-3 dollars and than you can have your 2-3 dollars profit in your wallet. Fees depends from exchange.
With low amounts you are forced to risk more to make something. More money you invest, for example 100 dollars, making 10% (10 dollars) and paying couple dollars for fees you will have 7-8 dollars profit in your wallet. It's easier and safer to make 10% than 50%.

And as far as I know there are exchange were there minimum transaction fees was 0.0001BTC up to 0.001BTC, in short I think 0.005BTC as a starting point in trading is the small budget you can start for.

It could be a bit risky as well in times when the market is in the recessionary phase. When you under invest by which I mean when you invest small budget, the loss could be very obvious and in addition to this even if you are trading in the market, the gain of value could be low as well. So I think that you should invest some money that could give you the return.

1 dollar is too low, it will be eaten by the fees. Just collect your money first until $50-100 first and then you can continue trading. With that amount, don't trade on decentralized exchange like etherdelta and idex, the fee is quite big and there is a minimum to trade. Try other exchange like binance.

For normal trading you can do bitcoin trading but you can do altcoin trading but in that you should do full research and then enter, margin trading is high risk but at the same time it will also give high profit also. So everything is upto you to decide which way you want to go.

What I mean is that $1 quite low for them and it would be difficult to find an exchange that would accept that amount of fee. I don't think this is feasible, no matter how resourceful and skilled you are. With this small amount, the trading fee will only eat up your capital, even if BTC goes higher, 'coz you know, evertime BTC goes up, blockchain fees goes up as well, and so transaction fees. Honestly speaking, even with $20, you'll hardly make a profit, unless you are really that skillfull in trading. Be practical. Only the trading platforms and exchanges will gain from you. A $50 start-up is not bad at all.

Exchanges that have the popularity of middle and lower might, I myself prefer an exchange that has a large community, because traders need fast transaction volumes in the market. etherdelta / forkdelta it seems the fee is under $1. I didn't pay much attention to the fees on the small exchanger but as far as I know they set a fee of 0.01% -0.1% and the amount of trades seems to be more than 0.01 ETH

Do you really want to trade with such smaller amounts like $1? There always is much higher fees that the total amount which needs to be paid for the exchange as well as the withdrawal so I a glance you might lose your profits as well as your capital. If you are not sure about your trading skills then you should try paper trading instead of really putting your money into buying some small amount of coins.

You should write down on a paper all you want to trade and see if your expectations are coming real. Once you gain much more knowledge about trading then you can start investing some funds which would also cover your transaction fees.

It is very much essential for each one of us to invest only after calculating the exchange fees and even the withdrawal fees. I totally agree with this statement, however for what you request, Bitmex is a great option to go from the small to the macro, if you choose a position with considerable leverage, you can get a juicy profit, this with the risk of that they can liquidate the position if the market goes against what has been bet to leave.

Surely coins are getting better now with time good time is not so far now, if you have small amount you can invest because price is not very high itself so it can give you good result at the end, until now it was little higher then it become down so again it has started to rise, so if you have small amount of money you can trade for long term, budget does not matter.

Lol. If you're that much afraid to lose that you're only willing to spend a dollar then might as well just gamble it with your friends. There are fees when you deposit, transact and withdraw so 1 dollar isn't something that even newbie traders deal with 😁 i guess the minimum amount decent enough to practice trading with would be about 20 to 30 dollars. That's excluding the fees.
