I'm sad that it ended this way, but what could we do? I remember in an interview by Jimmy Kimmel to the writers of the TV show, D.B. Weiss and David Benioff that when the Finale ends, they won't be there in the premier. Like they said that they want to go away in vacation, maybe in Aruba (I have watched a lot of TV Series that mention this or even in real life) that it's one of the best vacation spots. Anyways, they would be turning off their communications and spend their time with their wives. Maybe it looks like they want to get out ASAP and I don't know why. Perhaps some conflict in real life or something.

- Drogon resurrects Daenerys Targaryen.

- Arya Stark adventures through new land and discovers a new stronghold with Nightwalkers.

- Jon Snow returns from the Nightwatch land of the wildlings after they have been slaughtered.

- Briënne van Tarth raises Jamie's son and will become a strong knight.

- Lord Varys wrote a letter before his death. Those people will start asking questions why he died.

Many have stated their distaste of why Bronn was chosen to be on the council. And master of coin at it.
"My priority is rebuild the brothels."
I completely agree with you in the later half of the episode it had become to light hearted and did not fit with the overall feel of the entire series.
Will post my reaction to the final episode in the next couple of days.
Still piecing together some aspects of what I watched roughly 24 hours ago and it is not settling to well on how it ended.

In season 9:

The season did end with lot of opportunity for a very cool new season(s) indeed the travelling of Arya could be awesome, maybe drogon to seek for Jon as he is the last of the Targaryen....

Sansa to become a little les boring perhaps and Tyrion just to be a mastermind again.....

I do love that Frank Lammers guy, he played so insane good!!! Must see (beginning is better as ending but its ok)

i Hate how it ends , i hope they waited until the book finished, it so sucks to see that one of your favorite character will end in the way you dont like wherein everyone expected to end like that!

Probably not a reboot, probably another season for game of thrones. Although this may sounds odd but I think it's a good turn of events if they will consider opening up another season for my beloved TV series.

Arya might find places in the west of Westeros and will draw the map connecting their current map to the new one. And she will be so-called Arya the Navigator.

Sansa, might born children and might rejoining the six kingdoms as it was before.

Bran, ruling the seven kingdoms for good could be rulling the easteros also. Might see bad future for it because of those people that Arya found at the west of westeros were bad as she was followed.

Jon well, helped the wildlings start again and might be called if need be and the night's watch could be placed at the west, for them to guard from the west of westeros intruders.

Well, that's just what's going on my mind.

or did he melt it because he thought that the spiky throne killed daenerys?

Also a kind of chuckleworthy write a better ending from /tv/

would have been a better ending tbh than the cringy attempt at humour near the end of the episode

I think HBO will be having droves of people cancelling their subscription now as this was all they had it for in the first place.
