i cant get back metamask

hello all.i dont know what i am really doing or where do i make wrong.im into bounties so im using metamask and myetherwallet about a year but im not a pro of them.i was just looking my transections.anyway.
after format my pc i cant reach my account.i feel that i do wrong something very basic but where? when i created metamask and mew account i wrote it seed phrase and private key down.i also noticed somthing 64 digits (it says wallet but i dont know what i ment)
im so confused so i cant explain clearly, im sorry about that.
first i tried to use seed phrase but it says its wrong. (1st and last words are same, is it possible?) my bad maybe. then i tried private key from my notes, i can login but its not my wallet.how can it be possible? thats why im saying i make something wrong very basic.
then i thought it may be the mew seed phrase and i could login with it but it shows something with "HD Derivation Path" "Address to Interact With" and list of address which are what i have no idea.is it the right place to search my account?
can anyone help me with those explaination, i really appreciate that.

i watched videos, read articles but they ddidnt help me.

please suggest me something from start to end what must i do. im not good at those stuffs so be clean please.

For ETH wallet (My etherwallet, Metamask ...) you must export the Json file first. Next you have to save the Private Key.
These are two things that can help you login to your wallet wherever you are. I think you have not saved one of two things.

Sorry, I'm a little confused here.
You already own the 64-character sequence, which is the Private key.
This will definitely log into your mew wallet.

From the look of things, you need to be calm and find out where you kept your private key
You probably lost a few figures and just need to find your Json file

Try out on metamask; it could help

His interpretations actually somewhat confusing.
I understand that he has backups Private Key + Seed Phrase, but perhaps in the process of copying the Private Key errors occurred.
The rest I did not understand why he could not use Seed Phrase to log into Metamask.

Did you download the Json file when you created the ETH wallet? If you don't have any of Json file or private keys then it is impossible to access to the wallet. By the way, you can hire a good program master to recover your wallet by checking your browser's cookies. Just a suggestion.

AFAIK, after you reinstall metamask you will see "welcome page" that contains:
1. Import Wallet (using 12 "magic words"/seed phrase only)
2. Create New Wallet and seed phrase.

So, if you want to import/recover your old metamask after format your harddrive, you should use the right 12 word seed phrase.
There's no other way.

I think 12-word seed phrase is unique words, can't be same at each word.
Try to remove the same words at first or last.

That's mean, the private key that you use is not belonged of your old wallet.
But I'm curious, how can you get into metamask? Even though metamask doesn't need a private key to recover the wallet address.
Metamask only uses 12 words seed phrase.

Well, I don't think you would be able to recover your metamask account back unless you where able to save the private key generated for you from each wallet you created or you were able to save the json file given to you at the creation of wallet for backup.

Just try to check if you can find any of this and you would be good to go but if you can't find it in your PC then I don't think there is any other solution to get back your coin since metamask is a decentralized wallet and allows you to control your private key yourself.

look like you already save the seed phrase and private keys, but it's for different wallet and not for metamask and Mew? If yes, sorry to told you that you can't access the metamask and mew without seed phrase, private key or json file, hope your wallet don't have store too much crypto assets.

That 'HD Derivation Path' is correct, just go through them one by one and hopefully you'll come across the one which has funds in it.

It could be 5th or 500th address, if your wallet don't have much funds then leave it and move on.

Hm ... if you really mixed up your seed phrase you wont be able to recover your metamask wallet ...

Please ensure that you use only 12 words, afaik its not possible that a single word is repeated in the seed!

I think the problem is you didn't copied the passphrase or the seed and/or private keys correctly. I don't use JSON file to back up my MEW wallet and I just keep the private keys for logging in and nothing has been wrong.

Re-check if you have copied some wrong words and test it again. How much balance are we talking about this Metamask wallet you have? Try all sort of suggestions here that you can do to retrieve your account and funds back.

I suggest you move and not use metamask,
because a few weeks ago my friend experienced a hacker attack because his wallet was synchronized to metamask.
but if you still want to use metamask, you have to be careful. because of what is happening to your account, it could be a feature of your account being hacked by hackers.

A case like this is very similar to what happened to my friend, he formatted the laptop and backed up his metamask key, while the jar from MEW stored it in another hard drive, so far he no longer uses metamask and I also never use metamask at all get confused too to finish it.

what the colleague said above is an explanation of what you should do if you want your wallet not to be lost. The thing that is often done is when you register in mew and you open it in metamask so you forget that what you need to take care of of course is the mew key not in the metamask. because if you forget and only remember metamask then you will lose your wallet.

When you register yourself in mew use a JSON file instead of using a passkey, because it works the same as what you would do in metamask so you don't need to know the passkey but you only need to save the JSON file in a safe place and a password to open it. or you connect directly to your metamask the most important thing is that you don't forget the password and if it gets lost you also have the "Seed Phrase" file to repair, where the file is stored in a place that you can save properly.

Honestly your problem just makes it difficult for me to understand, I am also a regular user of it to transfer ETH and it is good (no need to discuss), the problem is that when installing it will ask you to set for the system and give you the keywords to access.
