Why crypto market is volatile

Because its such a new area and prices are low, whales can come in a buy huge amounts and then sell them for a quick profit.

Because this is a small and free market. It is not protected so the price can fluctuate greatly in a short time. And that is a great opportunity for everyone to make a profit

Maybe because cryptocurrency is not just an investment but has a major role which is a currency. With this there are a lot factors to consider. Maybe its because of the demand and supply since crypto are just mined and the source is limitted. Its also maybe because of the manipulators etc. You can see a lot of topics like that here.

One of the reason why the crypto market is still very volatile compared to that of traditional is because it is not being regulated which will be of the major thing affecting its volatility, and because of the manipulations going on in the industry, it also discourage lots of investor coming in to the market.

It will be difficult for any investor to commit so much large fund into a market that is unpredictable and with so much volatility and until security is fully introduces to guarantee safe investment; the market will continue to be volatile.

It is so volatile because there is no mass adoption at the moment though I do hope that with time there will be stability in the crypto currency market. Based on what we have seeing so far about crypto currency market the volatility is more better as compared to what it was in the year 2017.

Maybe because crypto is controlled only by rich people. With any money that can change, including crypto market conditions.

I want to tell all pessemists that he is wrong and panic in vain . patience and positive thinking . I feel okay because I know that in the long run every thing is going to be okay .

First reason for the high volatility is crypto market is not controlled by anyone. People from around the world can invest anytime. In addition, manipulation is another reason for which volatility is high. If you think of decentralized, you can't control it. By the way, cryptocurrency got popularity for its volatility.

The cryptocurrency market is young and therefore its capitalization is still very low and therefore large players can manipulate the market.

The price of cryptocurrency is influenced by many factors, one of which is demand and supply in the market, traders speculation, circulating news related to cryptocurrency, whales, market makers, etc. That is why prices are quite difficult to predict and develop beyond expectations.
