My only think that anyone who are interested in to trading and choosing and good exchanges will needed a huge experience in this field because the counting days will increase your talent and knowledge about anything that you are interested so it could give the idea about the new and existing exchanges then it will be easy to pick the right one for good exchange.

Coinbase is the most legitimate exchange in the space. It's also the main fiat entry/exit point for millions of people, doesn't matter whether they are short or long term minded. Coinbase is the best in that field.

First of all you should know everything about their fees, either it is trading fees or withdrawal fees, and you should know what is the minimum withdrawable amount for coins/tokens there, and more importantly you should do some research about the exchange history and read some legitimate user experiences to see for yourself whether or not they have a good reputation before depositing any funds there, and lastly but not least you should use their trading interface for a while to see if it fits your needs in trading or not, like having a stop loss option and such...

First and foremost choose exchange that is credible and have real volume. There are many exchange that its volume are bot volume so their trading volume ia fake. Remember to use 2FA on your account and other security to protect your account. Before choose an exchange, try to search it first on google, check the review.

I suggest trying Binance. You don't have to fill KYC if you don't want, you can start to deposit with a low amount with a various coin. You can use BNB as your trading fee so you can keep your profit in your balance. Binance has a large list of coins so you can choose which coins that could gives you a profit. I wouldn't suggest using Coinbase because you need to fill KYC if I'm not wrong, but it's up to you.

low fee of transaction is not always the best feature of an exchange. just take a look at tradesat now, they are charging one of the lowest btc tx fees but how long are you gonna wait, days -weeks? thats unacceptable! better pay for higher tx fee with the assurance that you will receive your money.
aside from that = active technical support, fast response whenever you are encountering any issues with your account. that you can say you closed your ticket satisfactorily in just few days not weeks of waiting in agony

Its just too dumb for an exchange to set out the lowest fee but when it do already compromise the speed of transactions to be made then they are just putting themselves on fire.
This will be a big problem to them and might cause on losing users instead of gaining due to this reason.

Fast response of support, Good UI, Reputation and popularity is the factors that I do seek out when choosing an exchange.
