I think it is very harsh to talk about them in this manner, although I don't like ripple project and I don't think I will ever like it but I don't think they are here to scam people, I only don't like their project because I believe ripple is very much centralized and it is against the initial plan of why the blockchain was first created by Mr. satoshi nakamoto.

I also believe that the coin is been controlled by banks and also the government. Apart from this, I don't have anything against ripple coin or the dev team.

If I remember correctly ripple team have airdropped some of ripples to this community based on the ranks of this forum members. That is the only community/decentralized thing they have done so far but always claiming that they are more centralized than bitcoin (there was an incident about freezing an XRP addy which is having huge balances which was an action of flawed traditional banks usually do).

This is clearly not only a hateful statement, but also a scam accusation. They might use tricky shitty marketing, but as long as it is fair, I don't think it is scam. And more over you compare them to bitconnect, which is very clear is fraudulent, and they do an exit scam and just disappear into thin air.
XRP did not do that, and they still there, if you think you have been scammed you can contact them, and I am sure they will respond you.
I know that many people hate XRP and Ripple, but this kind of attitude is not accepted.

This is the stupidest comparison I know. XRP they have a clear development and always produce many product applications that can help society even their technology is being applied by many big banks. If you want to compare with XRP, only BCH is the top candidate because these are the 2 currencies related to payment and are competing on price. Bitconnect has died within a year but XRP has existed for a very long time

Basically, it's fine to see that there is someone trying to create an opinion based on his preview but i should a bit agree with OP. The premined is too much. When each of XRP worth 2 dollars and the team has been getting 100 billions dollars. But this company can't be called as another bitconnect.

XRP tradeable since 2013 and the price already keep going up since that, with more working product like XRapid, Ripple has potential to raise multiple times again in bull market. So XRP and Bitconnect is very different, XRP is legit project that help many third party for development their business.

I don't like the XRP. But it is not bad enough to compare with Bitconnect. I think the XRP is a nice bridge between from FIAT to cryptocurrencies. Bitconnect was a SCAM!

I don't know the percentage but Ripple has huge support from the community of investors, if this is like Bitconnectcoin, then we are ruin, I don't see the similarity in terms of the technology and what Ripple wants to achieve in the industry, you just hate Ripple that much.
