How to explain...

Right now my game generates random "generic" units based on player level, fame, and loot box.  No issues there...

But, i thought it would be cool to add some culturally significant units from either historical figures or movies, etc.  For example... If you find an "Eye of Horus" card with the name "Sauron" the card would become "Eye of Sauron" and have card text about LOTR.  I want to use an image from wiki-commons for the card

Or maybe you can find "Bill the Time Traveler" from Bill & Ted's excellent adventure.  Or Ghandi, or mythical beings like Athena.

Does anyone know about copyright and such from images that are commonly used to represent such things?  At what point do "fair use" laws protect the content?  The special cards cannot be purchased, only found in gameplay.

I am more trustable than you.  Those cbags who trolled me can get bent.
