The main goal of a company is to expand and blockchain technology is only one of the few things they could try. Actually, I have thought of this before that this can happen in few years. It really makes me excited because it can make transactions in the buying stuff in the games much fasterand more efficient. Yes you're right. There are lots of gamers on those platforms and gamers are really quick when it comes to adopting stuff like this. Though I'm thinking about how many of them will be ready to hold Bitcoin because it is volatile, those that would like to make use of cryptocurrency will mainly be using it for a purchase on the gaming site, so they might be jumping on stable coins till they get interest in holding a coin that is unstable.
 
Another thing is that these gaming platforms might even decide to create their own coins, because this has become the norm for most organizations these days, they all now prefers to have their own coin instead of accepting Bitcoin on their platforms. I've never heard this news before. But it would be nice to acknowledge the existence of cryptocurrencies in future games.

But I think the blockchain technologies are meant to be the infrastructure of the games. Or the currency exchanged in these games is the cryptocurrency.

Definetely yes because e-sports is a hobby for young people and crypto is created for young people that are skilled in computer technologies.
