The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I think you must have had rough experiences with some of this trash coins and I hope this wouldn’t turn so. Well I personally think this one would have better prospects and possibly would last long in the market because of some of its features which would necessarily attract good investors. I do not see telegram coin failing not with the affiliate program they have put in place.

Here you only sign up and just be recommending telegram coin to other new users and and get 9 percent referral deposit commission. This is mouth is mouthwatering and am very sure a lot of users would like to even refer more users so as to get the referral commission hereby giving growth opportunity to the coin.
Looking at the two prominent social media platform planning to bring up this new project, it’s no doubt that they will really go a long way and going by what the person you replied to said, it’s true that they might operate a system that is not a fully decentralized system considering the fact that they are both organizations that are already used to running a centralized system with lots of policy that does not give users of their platforms right or freedom to really control their activities and it is this same system they end up bringing into the crypto industry.

It is very trendy to launch a coin nowadays. It is a good thing for crypto awareness and mass adoption of blockchain technology but we have to wait and see what other benefits  it will bring to the crypto space if any.

Its not that surprising though since there are a lot of social media companies building their own crypto project also. Specially that the numbers of using telegram as a means for crypto usage only make telegram to act and build their own too and why not since they have the means and budget to do it but in this very competitive market they got to show off more.

Aside from Facebook’s digital coin for their WhatsApp messaging platform, Telegram and Signal are also among the messaging platforms developing their own digital coins.

More info here: https://www.unblock.news/news/telegram-signal-reportedly-developing-digital-coins

Indeed, very many platforms today are eager to develop digital currencies. I think, this is inseparable from the success of Bitcoin in the digital world. Facebok, Telegram, and Signal have very many users. This makes it very easy for them to make the coin rise. Especially now that Facebook has developed an ads platform. This is a new thing for Facebook.

I am not really against them using blockchain technology because that is the age we are moving to now and I think this phase of blockchain will surely make things lots easier for many companies that are not even within the scope of messaging companies, but the issue I usually have is that why do they have to create several cryptocurrencies, and in this world, we have over 11 million companies.

If many of them decide to enter the market today and they each create their own coin, which means we will be having like 1 million coins in the market, then how do you get to choose which one to invest in? Because researching on projects is not easy, and for you to start picking them one after the other. I really thing they have to work together and should have partnered with a coin, maybe Ethereum.
