Can bitcoin be worthless?

Due to the limitation of 21m, and 20% of this amount being lost in the blockchain, I believe that bitcoin is a rare product and a lot of acceptance, it would be very difficult to be useless, it would have many advantages for those who never get it!

Not to the future, the technology is making changes to the present. Bitcoin grew high reaching around $20000 within a short time period, but the same won't happen to make it worthless because the growth of blockchain technology keeps continuing without interruptions while bitcoin is being opposed on different countries.

Less availability doesn't alone made the bitcoin to be worthy,it has some real usage which creates demand for it causing real value as well.But the limited availability makes the bitcoin more expensive when the demand increased which has positive as well as negative.Positive thing is that bitcoin will attract lot of people to make more money if the price increase but the price increase makes the bitcoin to be used as an investment not as currency.

Yes, I agree with you. We cannot say that bitcoin be worthless because of it still a new technology which not all people knows. I am sure that in the future, all people will realize about this and they don't think that bitcoin will be worthless because with bitcoin, they can get something better and they also get a new type of the investment.

Personally, I don't' think that bitcoin can become worthless, most of the valid reasons but in short, Do you know bitcoin has spend a long time but still alive. During in this period, a huge number of altcoins come and go back and some altcoins lose their reputation. So you can't compare bitcoin with others and we don't think that bitcoin will be worthless.

Right.10 years has passed and still bitcoin is still standing firm.If bitcoin was worthless,it might have vanished in the past years but as time goes by,bitcoin was indeed become more useful and beneficial to more people especially if it will adopted by majority in the next years to come.So i really think bitcoin will not become worthless even in the future.

b) the protocol itself

Which could not be resolved

It is unlikely it would just become worthless given the market advantage it has, the tried and tested security system it possesses based in cryptography - math is the language of truth after all.

Bitcoin will be not worthless as long many people use it and as long the price is not zero. It will not happen because people know that can use bitcoin and many different ways like investments, bounty and so on that bitcoin is indicated. Yes, I agree with you. We cannot say that bitcoin be worthless because of it still a new technology which not all people knows. I bring back the question to you, is it possible that bitcoin wont be used by an individual? As long as there are lots of people who will be use bitcoin and other crpyto product it wont be worthless.

It really depends on whether there is a bitcoin killer out there.

At present bitcoin doesn't have any proper rivals. But if you look at how MySpace was riding high and then got taken out by Facebook, it is entirely possible that a genuinely useful coin might displace bitcoin.
