Absolutely not inspite of the high volatility of cryptocurrencies  we have gone beyond the days when investors did not know about the future of crpytocurrencies and so did not want to hold much bitcoin. But with how news of the adoption of crypocurrencies are circulating i don't think bitcoin can ever be worthless again.
the development of bitcoin has indeed been very far for now. this can be seen from the price that is quite high at this time. besides, the development continues. so, I also think that it is very difficult to happen. however, people will definitely try to get bitcoin, and that makes it worth
The fact is bitcoin keep grows and develops, adoption runs smoothly, I admit that certainly there is a possibility that bitcoin will beworthless, but the possibilities are very small for now, because bitcoin is still going to its era. even I can't predict how long bitcoin will last, because bitcoin is still in the growth stage, we shouldn't think about worthless from bitcoin right now..

In theory, I would say yes. Bitcoin, just like everything else with value, fully depends on the demand. When the demand for it goes down to zero, it would of course would be rendered useless. Another possibility is  being replaced by others cryptos that are far more superior in terms of features; which will eventually make bitcoin obsolete. All these just theories, but they are highly unlikely, since bitcoin will always be the father of cryptocurrency and will remain a champion for many years to come.

Bitcoin is worthless only for those who don't know this technology and its power but those who know blockchain and its value in the future knows the worth of holding bitcoin. It happens only if the whole world banned cryptocurrencies then all coins will be worthless but it will not happen either.
Bitcoin is at high level in market now a day I am sure it will never reduce the value it will always gain more investors because if we take look of the history we will notice only bitcoin is he cryptocurrency which got the level of popularity and it has become one of the best investment in market, it grows it falls but we should buy low and sell high, just simple is that.

It seems unlikely that bitcoin is worthless because now there are still quite a lot of bitcoin enthusiasts in several countries, especially in developing countries and until now the activity of the bitcoin market is still very much in some exchanges even the volume is quite high

No, they will not become worthless due to the built- mechanics of mining bitcoins. I think it will only become worthless if there’s no demand for them. The fact that Bitcoin becomes more and more expensive to mine means that people are available to pay more and more for it.

Currency failure generally occurs due to the type of hyperinflation, and there is always the potential for technical failure, currency competition, political issues and so on. As the main basic rule, there is no currency that can be considered very safe from failure and difficult times. so is it possible that bitcoin can become worthless?

Can banks become worthless? It won't be worthless as long as it has customers. Same answer for Bitcoin's too.
Bitcoin won't be worthless as long as you and me discussing him. Not only us, but there also are a lot of us who supports BTC, so it won't get down, it's a one-way ride where Bitcoin goes forward only.

Bitcoin will not become useless because it is already used as a means of payment.  I think that in the future it will be used even more.  Maybe even he will be a world currency then he will definitely be useful.
In the future maybe the cryptocurrency will use in the different country and maybe billions of people are using crypto but not currency I think. Bitcoin can use in the different payment method in the online store and more stire will accept bitcoin to their choices of payment.  Bitcoin are worth it because we earn profit and we can use it in different ways .

But from the point the poster is looking at it from I think he is having his own views about currency operations and that is why he said it bitcoin failed. Any currency can fail at any time and at that if bitcoin price on the exchange market go down to zero cent it means there is no more demand for bitcoin but if the demands continue to increase as it doing I think bitcoin will take forever to become worthless.

I don't think there will ever be a time bitcoin will be worthless, bitcoin will forever be used be individuals and will continue to have high exchange value because bitcoin is a system that will be run in the blockchain.
Opportunities for worthlessness actually exist because indeed Bitcoin itself also comes from a public trust so it is not impossible that later Bitcoin will also experience problems like the one above that bitcoin can be worthless

It's not easy to make Bitcoin die quickly because it's very true that you see Bitcoin interest and interest in other countries. Other countries have benefited a few years ago.

In my opinion, Bitcoin is not just a currency. Bitcoin is a technology (Blockchain). It's a revolutionary technology in the world of Internet.

In my knowledge the last revolution was Invention of Internet and after that Blockchain Technology is the only thing which is growing day by day.

Soon we will able to see global adoption of this technology. Bitcoin is base of cryptocurrency and will remain forever till this blockchain technology will stay in existence.

As we can see year by year bitcoin's value is increased and till global adoption i can say it will keep increasing.

So Bitcoin can not be worthless till blockchain technology will exists.

Thanks !!

I totally agree, with Bitcoins dramatic gains for the past few years and with a lot of people more drawn to it, bitcoin will not be worthless. Also, blockchain being a very promising technology when it comes to security of personal information, a lot of people nowadays are starting to adopt bitcoin.

Bitcoin can become useless only if people stop using it for some reason. In the short term, this seems unlikely, because not all people yet know what a cryptocurrency is. The technology of digital money is convenient, practical, has cheap transfers, therefore the society perceives it positively.

It was invented in 2009, so it was "worthless" at that time. You can't compare 2009 with 2019(now). Albeit I agree that there is a possibility, but the chance is extremely low t happen despite how strong the community is.

Anything can be worthless if no one will recognize their existence even the local paper money that if no one will use it as the people prepared to use the digital transactions then paper money will become useless in which same goes to Bitcoin too that if people will no longer use it then it will become totally worthless.

No, I don't think so that bitcoin would be rendered worthless soon. No matter how hyperinflation the market experiences, we cannot discount the fact that we are heading to live in a cyberspace where every transaction is virtual, and that requires virtual currency as well. Other crypto may be affected by this possible hyperinflation, but about bitcoin, I don't think so. It managed to remain resilient thru the years because of its great use case. Bitcoin will be bitcoin and will remain the king of crypto.

Practically, Bitcoin turns out to be the leading cryptocurrency and most investors look up to it to make their judgements concerning the entire crypto market. Bitcoin becoming worthless means the entire crypto space entering into a bad condition. Bitcoin will not become worthless because it has a huge, strong and supportive crypto community.

There are many main reasons where bitcoin can never be or become useless, for example: There were many who said that bitcoin was a bubble, but what they did not realize is that a bubble bursts fast and without many operations or with so much volume and market capitalization.

The bitcoin enthusiasts, are people who for nothing in the world are going to abandon bitcoin, and many have a lot of money and will not let the bitcoin die.

The speculators of the market, are the people who least want to let him die or become useless, because they know that people every day are joining the world of bitcoin, either from the market trading, or supporting a project that have to do with cryptocurrencies or directly with bitcoin.

Investors much less, they are the people most interested in that bitcoin never dies, they have a lot of money invested and they keep accumulating, because they have studied the market and trust that at some point, in months, years, the time if necessary, they will wait for the bullish trend phase to start, always they have the conviction that it will happen, therefore, they have prepared their strategies to protect their investment at all costs.

I think these reasons are enough to think that bitcoin will not be useless, because the amount of money generated by the speculative market, with respect to the use of Blockchain technology, will always bring benefits for all those who participate in the market.

yes it can be very useless if in this world there are no more transactions with bitcoin because bitcoin is no longer of use after reaching max supplly maybe because moreover the use of max supply for transactions is certainly there is a lot of price manipulation there because the amount cannot be mine can only be traded surely this will be a disaster in the future then bitcoin causes a lot of losses in many macroeconomic economies in the world that prohibit the use of bitcoin in both trade and mining

It's certainly possible. If people for some reason stopped using it, or if something were to somehow destroy the physical network, or if some unforeseen danger in the future were able to severely damage the internal structure. I've even thought about what would happen if an AI system (or maybe even hackers) created multiple fake traders and fake trading volumes (and real scams and hacks), and gradually accumulated and hoarded all Bitcoins, it could then either not spend them, or use them to take over the world!

Certainly possible, but doesn't SEEM like it would happen, but then again...

Have a good day,
The Cyberius team.
