so if paper money can become worthless then why can't bitcoin. If you think about positively on this then you will see when bitcoin reaches its potential you don't have to even sell it. Great point, it just simply comes down to supply and demand. I believe the value of bitcoin is gradually increasing, so there is no point of it getting failed in near future. As it has more advantages than disadvantages compared to traditional currency, so it has been fast adopted all over the world.

Nevertheless, it is possible, see how low the price of bitcoin can fall, it is not fixed and is in constant motion. If all Bitcoin holders decide to get rid of it - everything will collapse. |

It could happen only on the condition that no country accepts it and make it ban in their respective country. So this will discourage the people to use it and hardly anyone would be using which will make this coin worthless on a greater extent.
You are right above that. Bitcoin will become worthless unless in specific countries does not use it. But in reality many countries are open minded about the usage of bitcoin and few people does not know about it. So its impossible in bitcoin to become useless. |

Bitcoin actually grew from nothing to becoming something over a decade now due to the agreement of the crypto community and the fact that they agreeing to use bitcoin as a medium of exchange for goods and services. However it would be really difficult to think that bitcoin can ever become worthless looking at its marketcap and the number of investors who are into investing into bitcoin. Actually let's hope it does not become worthless someday.
Yeah for me as well it is not possible because crypto currency is getting powerful day by day and it is gaining more value, I think with time bitcoin will become more worthy and valuable, we can see in 2019 digital currency has importance not only as currency but as an asset as well, in coming few ages we will see bitcoin having more value and popularity. |

This is possible, no doubt, a lot of thing can happen, if people think BTC don`t worth 1 dollar, so BTC will not worth...
But this is very unlikely, because let's say BTC loose all value, some people will continue to buy believing that in the future the coin will have some value again...

As long people are thriving to a cashless society the bitcoin will never be worthless. Many things are being convenient because of bitcoin and other digital currencies and as the time goes by, most of the market will prefer on more digital way. Bitcoin is the pioneer of digital currencies so as a primary foundation it won't easily be worthless.

In theory is possible but in practice I don't think this is going to happen. There is always possibility that some new coin and new more advanced technology appears that could ruin the value of Bitcoin but I don't think this is going to happen, at least not in near future. Exactly because of the fact that Bitcoin is the first, the most valuable and the most successful coin I think it will always survive and keep at least something of the value.

Bitcoin won't be worthless in the near future. Bitcoin is already accepted as a payment method by leading companies as well some government agencies. Since there is a limited supply of Bitcoin available, price won't be worthless. Personally, I believe that the only reason its price can go down in the future will be rise of new cryptocurrencies with better technology, capabilities and decentralization. Imagine if altcoins such as Ethereum, XRP, NEO, TRON are not existing now, Bitcoin could have a higher price than it's current price in my opinion.

Currency failure generally occurs due to the type of hyperinflation, and there is always the potential for technical failure, currency competition, political issues and so on. As the main basic rule, there is no currency that can be considered very safe from failure and difficult times. so is it possible that bitcoin can become worthless?
Everything is possible but the question you should be asking to yourself is how likely that outcome really is? And to me the chances of that happening are very low, if there was some fatal flaw in bitcoin you can be sure that governments should have already used it and yet bitcoin is still alive which means there is not such a flaw, also bitcoin cannot be printed at will so it is impossible for bitcoin to die out of hyperinflation. Bitcoin is also not tied to any country so even if a country falls that should not really affect bitcoin at all and when it comes to the competition bitcoin is without a doubt not only the best cryptocurrency of the world but the best currency of all that currently exist in the world so I am not worried about bitcoin disappearing or becoming worthless. |

The only way that Bitcoin can become worthless is if there was a fatal exploit of it. Otherwise, the price could never go down to zero, because there will always be people who will buy as much as they can if the price say goes below $100.

For me its impossible, bitcoin has been present for a couple of years now and it gaining more more popularity - meaning a lot has been educated about bitcoin and a lot countries already accepted bitcoin, some countries South Korean for example, is doing an effort to get bitcoin be known to all people. Being said that, I conclude that bitcoin can never be worthless because I believe no one will never use bitcoin, more coins may arise but bitcoin is bitcoin, it is already proven and tested.
