Will Monero Reach $500 in 2019?

I don't think Monero can reach that high amount in 2019! I mentioned "High" because, in this bear market, it is more than the high price for Monero! And no single coins can go a high price if the total crypto market doesn't grow well! Monero is one of the most used coins in real life, I mean Monero is using in the Deep web! But still, 500 USD for one XMR seems impossible to me.

Maybe Monero can really go up in price. I think that this is quite possible because the percentage of people who can use anonymous payments in 2019 may increase. I think that now the market can react quite seriously.

The upside potential is definitely real. It is similar to Bitcoin and has the anonymity features, which makes it somewhat complementary to a payment system that BTC is also a part of. You need both I think.

Uptrend to make a long recovery is unavoidable thing, especially after more than one year and a half of bear market.
The market has to move up, but it won't be powerful enough to go up steadily.
Instead, the market will have to be corrected for each part of its journey, despite of the general trend is upward.

I think that Monero is going to be one of the top 3 performing cryptocurrencies in 2019-2020 according to oracletimes and the performance might be thoroughly maintained. Because of the privacy policy, Monero is gaining worldwide acceptance. Towards the begin of 2019, Ledger Nano wallet started supporting Monero, which made it even more wanted by most of the crypto traders across the world. Now, Monero is working on updating its technology like GUI with subaddresses, multi-signature, etc.

Monero will have 18.1 million mined mid 2022. So in 3 years time.  After that it will add like 150k XMR every year. And that way forever secured its network not needed  to rely on fees.  Number of daily mined Monero decrease drastically. and went from 25k in April 2014 to 2150 XMR today. 25k XMR mined daily was huge selling pressure that kept Monero price low for years. Now that pressure is slowly going away and that will reflect on Monero Bitcoin ratio.

I dont think $500 Monero in 2019 is likely to happen. Yes of course it is possible but for that needs a serious adoption to happen. Without that adoption to happen and relying only on Bitcoin cycle we should see a $500 Monero in beginning of 2021.

Every year the issue of Monero coins will decrease.

No it will stay at around 150k.  What will decrease is a % that that will add to the whole number of coins in existence. I believe it will be 0.87% yearly and then just decreases slowly.   Gold yearly mined inflation is between 1.5% and 2%.  Current Monero yearly issuance inflation is around 4%

Of course it is good since it is the only way to secure the network. Fees will never be high enough to secure network on its own. Bitcoin and many other copies of Bitcon will have this problem to add tail emission "soon". In Bitcoins case in about 15 years time.  Main point of money is top be secure. If someone make you think he sent you coins but he did not then that is not the money anymore and value of such coins will be zero.

Monero is a good altcoin, i mined it when it was launch and now i regret that i had no trust in it, still the value of it will grow, if not to 500 it will be close to it.

Lucky you if you have been one of those guys mining it in the very beginning. That turned out to be a great deal for you. Did you mine it with instances from AWS or did you wait till the GPU miner came out?

Possibely, it will hit the 300$ sooner than 5 years but there is a small chance to hit 500$ from my point of view. After the bear market rates will surge and prices will hit the all time high levels again. Let's wait and see what will bull market bring us.

Very interesting and logical theory on the expected growth of the coin. Monero can be really significantly rise in price, if no one intentionally prevent this from happening. In the cryptocurrency market, they do not like a logical increase in the price of coins, some manipulation will necessarily happen.

How can you store value if anyone can make 51% attack and fake its transaction that never happened? Would that not make that coin worthless? If you would be always scared that whenever you receive Bitcoins you would get fake ones?   When network is not secured enough and I believe you cant secure it just with fees. Then this will happen.  But as I said. Bitcoin should be safe until at least year 2040. So there is plenty of time to find solution or add tail emission like Monero solved this problem.

Monero with 0.8% yearly emission will be deflationary. I am totally positive about that. That will barely cover the lost coins. As I mention before that will be even less then half less as gold have. Is gold inflationary? I dont think so. One ounce of gold bought you an amour in roman times. One ounce of gold bought you a business suit 100 years ago and one ounce of gold buys you a designers outfit today. So pretty neutral, nor deflationary nor inflationary.   And gold was tested over several millenniums. So the answer is pretty clear. Monero will be deflationary. So as Bitcoin already 6 years from now.

Yeah, Monero mining will be end May 31 2022 only 2 years left, this is the monero mathematical calculation. Because total circulation is 18.4 million and you know that now 16,871,971 XMR in the current market.

Seems like that, Monero is a coin that is always fully supported by devs. so there is always trust from investors and Monero holders, but the price of $ 500 is impossible if the market is still like now.
