Will Monero Reach $500 in 2019?

I dont think so, because monero is very late in pump and the project is stuck. But i think monero can reach 500$ in the end of 2020, if the project get the goals i think many people will believe in monero and invest in.

It might happen but there must be a number of factors that support it so that it can happen, BUT if talk honestly in 2019 it is very difficult for Monero to touch the price of 500$.

Monero added features over time. Level of anonymity that is close to today's was achieved only in 2017. So transactions made before 2017 could be theoretically linked.  That was not a bug or an flaw. That si how it was and everyone that used it at that time should know that.  Just as if you buy red car then your car is not blue. If you color it blue then it become blue.  Monero development on unacceptability is not finished yet. So expect that in years to come it will be even easier to use it to achieve not likability of your transactions.  At no point there was better option for this then Monero. Not even in 2014. nor 2015 nor 2016. Monero was at all times far ahead of other coins that try to achieve opaque ledger.



Oh and there was no transaction tracked back to individual. It was mathematically proved that that can happen. And that was first published by Monero researchers in 2014. And development in that direction was made.  This research of which you are talking about was made by ZCash and it was published in 2017 when a was already fixed.  I am sorry you fall on it. Of course monero will reach 500$ at the end of 2019, but for now i think the price will dump so you must be patience until the end of 2020. If you want to get more profit you must waiting until monero dump un this week.

Monero's successfully completed fork did not even affect the price. I don't think it's right to get an expectation from the XMR before the real bull comes.

In as much that the crypto ecosystem kinda operate under the principle of  demand and supply, there is no way Monero can have a market value of $500 in 2019.  Its all time highest market price was $495.84, this was when Bitcoin market value was around $17k.  The highest price I see Monero attaining in 2019 will be between $90 and $150.

Why do you think Monero has the chance to reach $500 by the end of 2019? Monero getting closer in reaching its maximum supply of the coin is not really a strong indicator to influence the price of the coin.  Considering the trading details provided by coinmarketcap, Majority of the exchange platforms that trade Monero have it paired with Bitcoin. This means that the fluctuations in the price of Bitcoin has a strong influence in determining the market value of Monero. The only chance Monero has to reach $500 is when Bitcoin is worth about $17k or $20k.

I'm not sure that monero can reach $500 this year. The tight competition in crypto currencies made many new coins appear that were more technologically innovative. Indeed, the limited number of monero makes the opportunity for a higher price increase in the monero to occur but I am not sure that monero can compete with other potential coins. Indeed monero is one of the potential coins, but there are still many other potential coins that are competing to gain public trust. The limited amount of monero resources does not guarantee that the price of monero will increase. All depends on conditions and competition in the market. Yeah, if you are a monero lover, hopefully monero can reach the price you expect.

There is a big possibility that you have pointed out the correct one. They are nearly in their maximum limit already therefore there is a big chance that it's price will skyrocket especially once they will hit their limit in the following months or year.

If we are going to compare the price movement for the last 5 months I don't think it can reach that level, the price is moving slowly and we are moving in the second quarter if we can finish the second quarter and we can get Monero in the $300 level then it's possible fo Monero to finish $500 this year.

It is really hard for Monero to reach $500. Actually crypto currency are depending on bitcoin. Price of bitcoin can effect on the price of crypto. For ethereum, it is possible to reach $500 but for monero, i think it is not possible for this year.

Of course the biggest factor that makes the altcoins price up or down is bitcoin, and the Monero price can reach $ 500 if the bitcoin price is at least $ 25k, if you look at market conditions that have not recovered it seems difficult to achieve this year.

I don't think so ,it will be very hard for Monero to reach the price in nearest years.Most likely in 2022 bitcoin will touch again 20k level and I guess Monero will do the same with 500$.

It will be nice to see the Monero keep rising like other coins during the bull run of btc. Many people had invested in many coins during the 2018 and still are in heavy losses as market had gone red in 2018 and people have being holding patiently for the rise to happen.

When compared to the development of other Alts monero has still a long way to go to reach $500 we cant give false promises without knowing the market conditions. Yes monero has a great future without any doubt and most probably it will come under the top rated coins table in couple of days.

Monero is one of the best altcoins, so it surely deserves higher price. However, for now, the coin has lots of things have to surpass to hit $500 someday. In the future, when crypto will become more widely accepted in human civiliaztion, it is sure that not only bitcoin, but also good altcoins will hit their higher price, including our favorite coin, Monero.

Monero is on the third place on my personal list of the best cryptocurrencies. I wish it would reach 500 dollars this year but still, I do not see that it shows very fast movement. Probably, a bit later it will do this jump.

it depends on bitcoin price because if bitcoin raise, then other will follow it, specially coin with rank top 50 cmc.
they usually follow btc price immediately, but some coin will pump if have some new feature or it naturally happen demand and supply.

you are right. for this year, it looks like Monero has a very small chance to reach the price of $ 500. well, even though it belongs to the 15 best coins in the coinmarket. still it will be difficult to reach that price. you're right, maybe at least 2-3 years it can be achieved again.

If we can see the BITCOIN more than 10000$ then the possibility for the Monero to hit the 500$ can be a real. 2019 will be interesting to watch and buy the altcoins but there are scam projects that can ruin this purpose.
